I would be interested to know how much it would cost to repair him and would certainly be willing to make a donation. Does anyone have any idea how we go about this???

It's really sad that this hasn't been a priority to save by Sedgmore. I know it was only supposed to be temporary but it's now a landmark. Surely there are Willow weaving groups here that can repair him if the original artist isn't interested or able to? I tried to contact her over a year ago to ask how much it would cost with the idea of fundraising for it . Maybe someone is an expert crowd fundraiser and can get the willow rolling ! I'm sure many of us would like to help

Brillaint song Barry, let us hope it stirs some hearts to contribute to a restoration. Maybe the Morrison factory next door could put their hands in pockets?. I think they might have made a contribution to the Angel of the North many years ago, not sure.
