I walked for hours, I don't remember how far, I was burned by thirst and leaden of step, the road stretched out before me, I saw my family from years before, watching from beyond the grave as I craved comfort from someone, something, the rain fell like a Godsent shower to cool my frantic head, as I waited for the end, until I saw the light and knew I was saved, the relief huge, the smiling delirious as I knew that I had a friend in God Almighty, and I turned and made my way homeward.
