My interest in filming and photographing fun fairs began in 2019 after a friend and her son shared their love of many years for the Great Dorset Steam Fair; in particular, the Showmen’s Engines and the midnight whistles.
Intrigued, I bought some tickets and went along. Later that year, by chance, I discovered the one day street fair held in Broad Street, Alresford…. And so the adventure began.

How long had you been working with this Extreme ? I will miss riding on it too.
The ride was sold not long after Newcastle and now in Scotland with new owner Nathan Smith. Jingles are a minimum now as his son Rome works the mic well.
