90s,2000s and 2010s Romania does appear in Animes though.
Also Romania still exists and got much better since 1989 while Yugoslavia collapsed into chaos just two years after this and disintegrated into 6 smaller countries that, maybe with the exception of Slovenia, aren't even half of what the old country used to be, so take it for what you will.
Romania also appeared in at least three Scooby Doo episodes. Out of which at least one was in the 70s,and another one was in the 80s.
