A N O T H E R birthday party at home - without friends. He didn't mind though! We made sure to make it extra special with a "Flags of the world/ marble race king" theme (his current obsessions). My big 5 year old boy was so excited and had a lot of fun for his 5th birthday!!
Anyone else's kid have hyperlexia? If so, you know all about the flags of the world craze! Hyperlexic kiddos, like my son, are very smart and lots of them love learning about flags of the world and marble races. If you have a kid with hyperlexia, this is a great party idea for them! (Also the present I made for him is a BIG HIT). Please leave me a comment if you have a hyperlexic child or know someone who does - I would love to connect with you!

😮1ST TIME OUT OF THE HOUSE AFTER A YEAR!! We decided to cautiously take a vacation with our family to the beach. It was our baby's first trip to the beach and our little boy's 2nd time! It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun getting away!! Taking a 5 month old and a 4 year old to the beach isn't easy and is a lot of work, but seeing their excited faces makes it all worth it!
