Poplar Platics Toy Harley Motorcycle

Poplar Plastics made in England. This Toy Motorcycle is possibly from the late 50's or early 60's. It is complete with the original box. The toy cycle depicts a Harley Panhead "Hydra Glide" motorcycle. It is unique in the fact that it has a rubber band drive from the rear wheel that drives the pistons. the pistons are visible through the clear plastic cylinders.

FL, don't know what the compression ratio is. It was sold in 2015 and is now in Pennsylvania

I agree, I hate Buddy Seats also!! but we had pictures of the bike when it was given to the original owner as a high school graduation gift in 1948 from his parents and that was the seat that was on it, as well as all the accessory items put on at the dealership. We even had the original sales receipt with all the accessory items (including the buddy seat) listed on that receipt.
