Hello, in this video they were about 10-11 months old as mentioned above. I think they are about 35 cm high today. I'll make a new vid shortly. I was shocked as i watched those vids last week how less space there is left in the tank right now....

@@budygundara5401 They grow fast the first 18 months and then slower (but still) until 2 years. A fish grows his all life... Mine are 3 1/2 yo now.

Hello Jordan, mostly frozen white worms, artemias, krill & freeze dried bloodworms. BUT i also feed them about 8-10 times a day the first year and changed 50% water twice a week.

Hi, filtering with eheim external filters (2 of them) filled with 16 liters of Aqua neo media pure. Flow rate of both filters togehter about 1600 l/h real

How large are they? I've read that altums grow to 20-24 inches. Please clarify as I've never ever seen angelfish that large.
Hi, they are about 35-38 cm HIGH, also 14 inches, right ? Dont think they are gonna grow more then that, as they are over 2 yo now. I have seen at the Zoo in Basel (CH) really big Altum. They were at least 18 inches high !

Hi, F3 i think from Simon Forkel (Germany) They are not far away from reaching 40 cm now... They eat mostly friozen artemia and white worms, but also high quality freeze dried red worms, krill & shellfish. I keep them at 27-28°C at this moment of the year, about 29-30°C in the summer. Have a nice weekend ;)

Hi, the Rasboras are gone a long time ago. As the Altums reached about 30 cm in Height, the rasboras where to afraid of them so i removed them ;)

Hello Aqua Breeder, plants bring only problems for those fishes and won't survive anyway in this tank with low light intensity and really soft water.

These are the most beautiful altums that I have ever seen. Are they wild fish? Will you breed them? Where are you located? I am the past president of the Tropical Fish Society of Rhode Island in the states., and have kept and bred angelfish for years. I am thinking of starting with altums. They are amazing !
