    When you say pay attention to the temperature, what should we be looking for when unmolding? How long do you think is too long? How long do you usually wait?

      @@evenifcandlecompany I think I probably did. I was making multiples and It dried up super fast when I was adding the mixture to the mold, so I kept adding water to it. I think the experiment would have worked better if you also taped the thin vessel in the same way. So poure a little bit and then tap. But nonetheless interesting video ... I should also play more with my mix :)

    • @evenifcandlecompany
      @evenifcandlecompany 2 місяці тому

      I feel that it worked out fine. I tapped the appropriate amount of times for the thin consistency. I had to move the thicker one around more, since it started thickening much more due to talking in the video. But, most people who pour thin, don’t pour and tap a bunch. It almost defeats their purpose of doing it quickly. But anyways, it’s fun to figure it out! Thanks for the comment, and I’m glad you found it interesting!

      It’s on the mold itself! Custom molds are an option for some companies. I am changing the company I have used because the quality lacks. Or else I would recommend them. Canadian silicone molds does it and I’m considering switching to them.

      Hi Sue! Many people have asked about that, so I will be putting one out soon!

    Do you use anything to seal the vessels after curing?

      Just air dry. 🤍 I wait a few days, seal, then wait a few more days and pour candles.

    These were good insights as you reflect on your business. My hubby is good at math too😊 I felt what you were saying about being an introvert. I am too and in a recent vid I talked about how tiring markets are because you have to be “on” for HOURS. It’s hard. The candle trio you discussed is a great idea! Love the name of your business. When I first came across your videos it made me think of the song by Brian Free. Then I visited your website and saw the Daniel scripture❤
