Love Sammy but shame saying fake white artists ! Most British artists could sing more than one octave . Fake artists come in all colors and today has the most . People like Timberlake , Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, usher, Bieber and so many use auto tune and gimmicks . Love black artists but not recognizing real talent. British Invasion segregated the music . I was first white kid in my neighborhood buying black records because as an Elvis fan , I was introduced to black music. Also first to go to black concerts . Music more segregated today than then. Btw , it was black friends in neighborhood who introduced me to an Elvis whom they all loved ! 64-70 was dead music except for black artists , Elvis and Tom jones . Beatles were overhyped and emasculated men started. Beatles sucked. Temptations were better.

Great job Sammy. My wife and I met you backstage in Laughlin, Nevada in the late 90’s after a performance with Little Anthony. You had just left the O’Jays returning to the Imperials. You a bad man. You should write a book. The O’Jays and Anthony & the Imperials are my two best groups in a timeline of over fifty years. Thanks for a great career man. 👊😎

Buddy Miles is truly one of the greatest talents of any generation and his many musical contributions have made up a prodigious part of my life’s soundtrack and has been a seminal influence on my own journey. Just his resume alone makes for one of the most fascinating stories. Bob Davis acts on that very fascination, and produced an incredible, well executed interview here that is both deeply informative and highly compelling.

What a great interview of Sammy Strain, one of the outstanding members of Little Anthony and the Imperials and the O'Jays. I really enjoyed how he talked about his 47 year career in show business and the evolution of music over all those years. Hopefully, Mr. Strain will find the time to write a book on his career in show business which would be a treasure trove of information and knowledge. Congratulations to Mr. Strain on going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the O'Jays and, hopefully, soon an inductee again, as a member of Little Anthony and the Imperials. These honors are truly deserved after a long, illustrious career in show business.

OUTSTANDING! Very nostalgic for me. I was a high school student in Brooklyn during the Motown and the British invasion explosion that forever changed popular music. Sammy Strain's recollections are right on point! Little Anthony and the Imperials are one of my all-time favorite vocal groups.🎶 Stay well, Mr. Strain

47,000 Americans die each year because the government outlaws selling of kidneys. It's a travesty. The government should allow people to sell kidneys so these people have a chance at life. In addition, we should enable opt out organ transplant so people are donors unless they opt not to be.
