I live in the Seattle area of Washington and there’s not much for younger people to do here. I am bored out of my mind. I had way more fun in Colorado and enjoyed Denver’s bar scene.

I got mine today, and it was not that bad! The pain was bearable, I was well prepared by my gynecologist! Some doctors don't prepare you good enough! I'll tell you what was used in my case: - local numbing gell, right before the procedure - pain killers, 30 minutes before procedure (Mine suggested, 1 mefenacid 500 mg) - 2 Cytotec pills, 8 hours before procedure (200 μg) (its used to loosen that erea)

Great assessment. I’m currently living in Seattle, but considering moving to Denver. I’m pushing forty and have a small family, and Colorado does seems a bit more family friendly. Love WA and the PNW though.

My period is irregular too. I feel like I haven't had a real period since I was very young. But it was one extreme or another, it was either extremely intense cramps before I went on BC, or after I went on BC (PILL) I get very light infrequent, irregular periods and it doesn't feel natural at all. I'm considering an IUD as an alternative but I'm not sure what I want to do yet, arm or cervix? I'm still educating myself on this whole thing. I have a high pain tolerance and most things don't frighten me, pain isn't a problem, but for some reason the idea of my cervix being tampered with sounds extremely....bad. BAD. So I'm going to do a lot of research and talk to my OB and see what happens. If anyone has any tips let me know. Does the procedure generally take a long time and how painful was it for you? (Asking anyone who has experienced it) I want birth control for obvious reasons, but I also am having issues with acne and my emotions. I think the pill is having a serious effect on my libido and mood so I'd like to try something else.

From federal way washington. I say im from Seattle too because its easier. Im in colorado springs now. I like washington a little better but colorado’s weather is so much better. Not sure what i want to do once i leave the military. Maybe i will go back to washington but the weather might depress me again lol. Yes washington gets cloudy to the point you forget the sky is actually blue. Washington is why more urbanized if your a city person but the mountains are right there for the naturist. Of course im talking about the west of the mountains. Trust me, i was born in Spokane, please don’t live there.

I haven’t finished the video yet, but….I knew you were from WA the moment I hit play. Anyway, humidity & wind are HUGE factors. Weather can change year to year in Colorado. In WA, it’s been leaving that milder window & heading into more extreme weather. I’d say it’s now normal to hit the 90’s in summer (at least twice). I do LOVE a WA summer over a Colorado summer b/c I hate anything over 90! I enjoyed the rain in Colorado. I got sick of the sun, at elevation it’s a lot brighter and wears you out faster. SPF is a must, even if you tan well. Even if you are blessed with melanin. That sun will beat you to a pulp. The humidity in WA makes that 40 degrees feel very cold. In Colorado, a sunny & dry 50-60 degree winter day is perfect for outdoor activities. I hate that Colorado doesn’t seem to have many good lakes or places for swimming. WA (Seattle) has a lot of swimming options, but you might need a wet suit. Hyperthermia is a risk in CO, Hypothermia is a risk in WA. I prefer the grocery stores in Colorado over WA. That’s just me. I love Natural Grocers & King Soopers. Oh, and I love Mexican food…so Colorado wins there too. Oh, and the Rocky Mountains are way more exciting to me than the Cascades. Again, that’s just me.

Of course people are concerned. But what do you expect them to do? We live here. We still have to live here. Did you ask anyone about it?

I just got mine today plus I had polyps removed and a D & C as well and it was the least painful of everything. Thanks so much for this vid I was so nervous I was watching this right before I had my surgery and got it put in much love. I had to switch from the pill after 13yrs. I just made the decision to get the IUD today so thanks again you really helped my nerves.

I got the nexplanon arm implant in September , after a month I had so much bleeding with the largest blood clots ever. I was rushed to the hospital cause I fainted one night. My lady obgyn rx’d birth control pills to stop the bleeding and suggested morena. The bleeding has stopped with the birth control pills. I’m 3 months in with the nexplanon. I’m going to stick through it hopefully my body will get adjusted to the nexplanon. If not then I’ll try the mirena…
