This is my student, Asher's, tank. Each year, I give my students the opportunity to learn how to set up, cycle, and stock a tank in my classroom. Freddy is a blue crayfish. He was rescued from a frat house and is a student project. Freddy likes to eat sinking shrimp/lobster pellets, cichlid pellets, hair algae, bladder snails, and freeze dried bloodworms. Freddy is nocturnal, so he’s pretty mellow during the day, but he still likes to scoot around to decorate and eat snacks. His tank is often rearranged when I come into work the next day...

These are my hybrid Endler Guppies that I have been breeding. I crossed a pure Endler strain with an electric blue fancy guppy (don’t worry, I have an isolated pure strain of Endler guppies at home).
