Good old memories. Northern California along the redwoods. Swimming at the Russian River. Horseback riding.😊 Back in the 60s. 🤜🏽💥🤛🏽🫱🏽🫲🏽🪶🌲🌲📻🛶🤔🫶🏽😢
A boa musica não morre jamais !, essa musica é apaixonante, hoje aos 64 aninhos, ela me faz relembrar minha juventude, que saudade...
Love u dad I miss u everyday now more than ever forever you’re ed Sullivan boy love u pos😊
I saw them at Melodyland theater across from Disneyland in Anaheim in 1966. Seems like 100 years ago.
Uno de tantos buenos grupos musicales de esa bella época así como también beatles monkees etc
Big fan of DC5 back in early 60s. They competed with the Beatles for a little while till they ran out of new songs.
OK checklist>>> Suit and ties, ck, Standing STOICally ck, simple melody lines, ck, this is 50s PERFECTION of a music group. THANK GOD the 50s are over and better music of the 60 and all that jazz, nobody but nobody gets dressed like they are ready to go back to their office and work.
Better by far than the Beatles!
Hola soy mexicano pero me gusta la música norte americana e inglesa
These guys made the Beatles stop and listen." Not bad John." " We dont have a keyboard player,Paul, Paul?"
Битлз один в один, почему Битлз стали так популярны? Помоему Битлз полный отстой, вот Ролинг - Стоунз, это супер!
But Ringo was so classic in all styles , I became quite Versatile myself
As a drummer I learned from all the great bands , remember " the blues project "
I was enthralled with the group , but the Beatles eternal spirituality and humanitarianism won out
My frat house loved these guys.
I grew up listening and watching dick Clark American bandstand midnight special soul train loved it all even solid gold sonny and Cher the Osmonds the carter's etcetera now after MTV unplugged is gone now its all crap and dead oh ya captain and toniel niel Sadaka Laurence welk come on so many
Priceless memories.
The Beatles were always getting requests to sing this song. 😂
Who's still listening to this beautiful love song in 2023? I am ,I'll never get tired of listening to it.
A good song, is a good song forever, and this is one, as timeless to those that can appreciate the nuances of the tune! Plus the sound of a great Hammond organ, always adds the icing on the top! A great tune from a time of when there was an explosion of great music! I think we were spoilt for choice back then in the 6o's, as the great tunes just kept on coming. And we never really appreciated how good they really were!
BECAUSE。 稀代の名曲だと思う。
Thanks for the flashback, ah the 60s. Great time to be a teenager. And the music has been time tested, for a lot of the 60s bands.
If I recall , the band, in the beginning, was often mistaken for the Beatles.
Sorry meant to ID a bit...Vancouver BC in those days
Old-timer here...one of my favorites in the 60's. Glad all Over was my favorite song of theirs.
My Band was at the time a pretty well known popular rock band back then. A Surf Nantasket band. Jerry and the Impalas. Memories are still clear. Such wonderful time's back then.. Jerry. B.
DC5 4VR - 2023
They might have but I never heard a lot of bad things on these guys like drugs foolish talking great band
Great music miss all the time ,lived through it !!!!
My favorite band of the British Invasion..
Dave Clark was with Freddie Mercury when he passed.
I've always loved these guys. I also love the music they put out there for us to enjoy.
Cuz you love me.
I was in England when the Dave Clark Five we’re reaching their peak and meanwhile the Beatles were gaining popularity at home in the USA. I always really liked the Dave Clark Five !!!
I liked them too, way back then. But then the truth came out,
@@Mister_Pedantic the truth???
@@dorothycollins2431 I was one of those kids who thought that they were "better than The Beatles". But then some things happened. It was obvious that they never played live on Ed Sullivan, Shindig and other shows while The Beach Boys, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones did. And that time they did try, it was gawd awful. Then came Dave's movie. It was promoted as a DC5 movie, similar to A Hard Day's Night, funny and fun. But it wasn't any of that. It was a Dave Clark vanity project. The "Dave Clark Five" did not appear in the movie. The other men played stunt men and some of them didn't have any spoken lines. Maybe Dave got away with paying them less if they didn't speak. In later years the apologists have cited the movie as "visionary" and "ground-breaking" but that was not how it was received at the time. The kids who paid to see it felt cheated. The critics called it boring and derivative, right down to the way Dave went off by himself, just like Ringo did in AHDN. Later that same year the DC5 did appear as themselves in a movie. It was Get Yourself A College Girl. In London they were filmed miming to a song that nobody had heard of and that was grafted on to the movie in Hollywood. Later and in some cases, many years later, the truth began to leak out. Dave Clark had billed himself as a former stunt man in movies. That was a lie. He also described himself as a movie star. That was also a lie. He was briefly an extra in four movies. He took a composing credit on every original song his group recorded but now we know that he didn't write a thing. He recorded in secret with session players, with everyone forbidden to talk, even now it seems. That smells of a non-disclosure contract. If we'd had the Internet in 1964, Dave Clark would have never got away with his lies. Sirius Satellite Radio would not play any DC5 songs on the 60's On 6 channel but that changed after they were inducted into the Rock Hall. Having said all that, if Dave Clark assembled an honest box set with all the songs including recording dates, the names of the actual composers and the names of who played which instruments and who sang, I would buy it. But don't take my word for it. Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/bDMiHPFMMM8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TheGuitarHistorian
This is a classic of that era.

Great hit.
I have always loved this song. Never knew who did it. I found out this year by accident, when my Mum saw me trying to find "new" (to me it is! FANTATIC at that!) music from the 60's. She suggested the DC5 and honestly I wish she had suggested them earlier! One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. RIP Mike,Rick and Dennis and thank you. Lenny and Dave... thanks for this music.
