Hi Mr., I think you are not doing it right, since you are transmitting in CW and receiving in LSB. Think about it a bit, maybe I am wrong. 73

Hey brother, you can get a drill and use two self-tapping sheet metal screws to secure that connector, if you are worried about security of mounting. However, I think the way you did it will hold that connector in place just fine. Well done! -K5SFC

Thanks very much Prasad. Very informative video. It helped answer a few of my questions. I have an identical radio and so far I'm in two minds when it comes to it. I running it through a dipole antenna and the performance is OK, though I know that I have to tune the antenna better, etc. The other day I set it to transmit on 446.006Khz in order to converse with somebody over GMRS, and it was a disaster. For some reason, it just constantly transmitted a signal (without pressing the PTT), that completely drowned out the little Baofeng that was waiting on 446.006Khz. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I'm in Mozambique.

Thanks.... I bought one and will be very careful regarding SWR & power fed into the amp by my rig. My Qrp rig is an old ubitx & bitx40. They are supposed to output 7 watts. My crappy meter says 5 watts on the bitx40, so to be safe I ordered a 3db in line attenuator.

Hi, thanks for this excellent video. I have a Ubitx 6 still on original software. I did install the Nextion Screen 3 Inch approximately and appropriate firmware but had issues with correctly setting the Bfo. My signal had Usb and Lsb swapped as well as very low Tx power. That's resolved now so I will use your BFO method with the original software then re-install the Nextion screen and software. I have subscribed. Owen from Down Under Australia Vk5kov.
