I have had recent blood and BP tests everything normal. I am 44, fit walk over an hour a day every day. I have two black marks that are barely noticeable one nail. Had them now a couple of years. I cant find a reason as to why this happens and it is not painful or causing me an issue. My health has been fully checked very recently. Everything looks great. Would I be best to just ignore it? I suffer with anxiety a bit so this is driving me mad. Drs and nurse said my health is fine. I dont have heart disease or nail psoriasis or anything. My nails actually look healthy and good otherwise.

i know this is a older video but you can bet loads of people are suffering trying to come off tramadol. im now 14 days free from the horrible drug that i once thought was a miracle pill, but as time went on all i was doing was taking more and more to get that small hit that would last for 10 minutes! 5 years i was taking them 8 10 12 a day and 4 at a time at points, it was becoming a serious problem for myself so in the back of my mind i knew if i kept on this path of wanting more and more i would not be here writing this. if you are trying to get off tramadol just know YOU CAN!! but it requires self discipline and TIME! you need at least 1 month of free time away from any demands you have, if you have children i totally understand that might be a problem but know i have a 9 year old daughter that has been through it with me so please keep you children in the picture so they understand what they are about to see and feel from your withdrawals. about 20 days ago i decided it was time! time to get off this train and start my new journey to somewhere more sunny. i took my daughter on holiday for a few days for her birthday and when i was on my way back i decided im taking this last 2 tramadol and when i get off this ferry its over! i went from taking 10 a day and dropped it to 2 tablets in 6 days, please dont do this unless you are physically healthy and understand it might make things worst for you. i done the sudden drop in dosage because i have spent years trying to get clean from them and always failed 2 days into it but not this time i have put things in place to prevent me from getting the tramadol again so its either my way or the highway! the 1st day wasn't bad but my sleep was starting to feel disturbed, day 2. i was sweating and feeling sticky everywhere as the tramadol started to leave my body and the headaches were relentless with brain fog that would see me staring at my cooker while it was on and me thinking how do i turn this off, i had forgot how to turn the cooker off VERY DANGEROUS!! and i remember getting scared in that moment but my daughter laughed at me from behind and i snapped out of it so im grateful she was there in that moment! that night the dreaded RLS kicked in and my sleep was gone, i wanted to scream!! day 3. i was shattered and sore all over my body so it was then i decided i needed help and i called my local drug rehab clinic and they go me in and assessed me and offered me BUPRANORPHINE a opioid blocker that basically takes over from the tramadol and takes away all the symptoms and lets you life your life normally and that sounded amazing. i done a drugs test before being offered the buprenorphine but it came back positve and you cant take buprenorphine when you have already been on Toradol or you will take bad side effects. i needed something so i begged them to give me the medication so they did! well instanly i felt great but when i was walking home i felt drunk i started staggering and having to hold onto things to get to my house then when i got home i was sick all night, not good. BUT as bad as this sounded the bupranorphine side effects that day was enough for me to never want to see another tramadol again and i think that happened for a reason becouse i was on the verge of relapsing that day before i called for help! i will end this by saying if you are wanting to come off tramadol or you are struggling right now? just know all we have in life is a little time and how we choose to use this time will shape our lifes outcomes. when we are going through these horrible horrible withdrawals its only for 2 weeks 2 weeks is nothing, 2 weeks is a holiday abroad 2 weeks is insignificant in the time we have on this planet so use this 2 weeks of your life to get clean and get back to how you were before you started the tramadol, also reach out to a drugs therapist like i did and just listen to what they have to say or advice you on what you can do to get clean. there is 2 or 3 different medications you can take to replace tramadol. if you arein the thick of it please comment and i will be happy to chat with you, take care

Been a male I got diagnosed in North York Ontario by a specialist that also diagnosed me with spina bifida at the same time. I was only 23 and had been fighting for years to find out what it was
Why?
D
Correct!
In 2012 I was on tramadol for a month for shingles. Then my doctor said I didn't need it any more, and indeed my pain had receded a lot, so OK. What he didn't realize is that I had just used up all I had when I saw him, so I stopped abruptly. He said afterward that I probably shouldn't've done that; presumably he'd've prescribed more for me to taper off on. But I didn't find the abstinence syndrome nasty; rather, it was a kind of fun, albeit possibly inconvenient. I was sleepless and jerked around in bed, which bothered me until I realized, hey, I don't have to sleep, and then it was fine. Also I went thru a few days of lots of introspection, leading to episodes wherein I'd be crying thinking about things, though not necessarily sad crying, just like realizations about certain things, including some happy crying. It was bringing out certain aspects of my thinking that I already tend to have. Since I spend a lot of time alone, this was not bad the way it might've been at some times in my life. It also helped knowing that this was just the drug talking, not a lasting effect, nothing to be worried about Funny as it sounds, I've thought since then that if the circumstances were right, I might like to get on tramadol again for a while so I can go thru the withdrawal experience again. Probably not worth the drowsiness of being on the drug, though!
I’ve had it since I was a kid and it was so much more unbearable back then as an adult, I can tolerate it a lot better because I’m at work all day and not in the sun and just really only get it a few times but now I get it a lot more frequently because I have less exposure now, but The first rash when I was little so bad
I’m glad it’s not as bad now!
I have my all year long it feel like someone put my skin on fire
That sounds terrible. Hopefully your primary care will help you

Another "safe and effective" miracle from big pharma. But remember kids, don't smoke pot! What a crock of $HIT. But hey, record profits is all that matters, right? NEVER AGAIN. But seriously, don't smoke anything.
Excellent video and keep them coming. Apparently the Metoprolol Tartrate is more suitable in my situation. Regardless of what my cardiologist said, I started taking 1/4 of a pill because a whole pill made me very dizzy even with food. 1/4 of a pill twice a day made me slightly dizzy until I got use to this medication. But I got use to it and increased my dose to 1/2 of pill twice a day where the slight dizziness returned until I got use to it. But I am ready to take the whole pill twice a day now, but the so call NP I go to is really making it difficult for me as far as getting enough pills so I can start taking the whole pill twice a day and not running out before the 30 days is up. All these doctors do is overdose patients instead of starting small. That is why we all need to take charge of our health and not let doctors pull stuff on us. In the end Metoprolol Tartrate has served me well though I had to start out in smaller doses. Metoprolol has really helped with greatly reducing my PVCs, lowering my blood pressure and decreasing my heart rate. But if I ever start taking the whole pill twice a day and my heart rate gets to low than I will go back to 1/2 pill twice a day. Since I don't trust nurses and doctors to take my blood pressure correctly I have to take it at home and I make sure my equipment is accurate. I have been taking my own blood pressure for about 30 years and researched it on how to take it properly. So I see taking blood pressure readings as somewhat of a skill especially when a manual blood pressure cuff and stethoscope is used and now I understand well blood pressure readings need to be taken correctly. But nurses don't even know how to use digital monitors either.
