For the most insane that it looks, the Don Kirshner's Rock Concert was broadcast in Brasil in the saturday afternoons in the 70's. I was lucky to watch some very good rock'n'roll back then.

So glad I discovered Tony Joe, many, many year's ago. Told me even Troll's love Rock n Roll and many other 'swampy' tales. I'm 74 & British and loved the Blue's 60 + year's back, then R&B with the London Band's, then Psycadlic and 'long hair' music from both side's of the Pond. Sooo much FANTASTIC Music has travelled under the bridge and occasionally I discover a band I overlooked while growing up BUT discovered Tony Joe when I was young and enjoyed his music for as long as I can remember.... RIP & thank you for year's & year's of enjoyment.

I recently discovered this version and it blew my mind! Amazing musicians to say the least. As a guitarist, I find Akkermans improvising so incredibly intruiging. His tone, melodic sensibility, creativity and technicality, at that time of music history, is inspiring. Focus deserves alot of cred!
