This is my favorite part of the whole soundtrack. It’s one of the closest to the original game’s and its counterpart was my favorite in the original game so this holds a special place in my heart

I don’t know how Wolfquest managed to make a soundtrack that matches the wolf’s energy so well but they did it! Every song fits the situation so well… you can actually feel the beat of the wolf and the elk running in this.

In Slough Creek, the herds become resident across the river of the Gravel Fan, up along McBride Creek, in the spring. If you want to hear this song a lot, choose a den around Crystal Pond. You’ll also be treated to a lot of elk behavior you don’t normally get to see. I found out the Buttercup herd has a habit of disagreeing on where to go: they’re often hard to track by scent because they’re cut in half, lmao. Half the cows go one way, the bull follows the other half the other way. Makes hunting a sneeze though.
