I grew up in democratic education and we had a very similar art center in our school, that was always my favorite space to learn in, I would spend extra time there as I had been very close to the Art Teacher, i enjoyed going through the grades in that space, developing and creating learning. Looking back as a neurodivergent young adult, that experience truly has been what I needed to develop within my learning as I grew, and it is amazing to reminisce about the different interest centers that played through the language of art, looking back each project I can remember truly reflected both my learning AND my developmental experience growing up.
This was super helpful!
I want to sign up for the curriculum! When will it be opening again?
Hey there, I’m ready to start using your curriculum guide, I’ve already joined the waiting list. Do you have an estimate of when it will be available?
Hi there! It is my understanding that Charlotte Mason suggests allowing the children to pick out their favorite line (or two) to copy. This is helpful onto adulthood in picking out pertinent lines/points and also allows them liberty. This practice is also used to increase attention.
thank you for this insight! Where is your favorite place to buy the easel pads?
How and where can one organize all these things when you live in a 484sq ft apartment? We must do everything in our living room which is 32 sq ft. I’d love to have something like you do but in a tiny place it’s impossible. Any tips will be greatly appreciated
Just stumbled on to your channel. I am new to the reggio curriculum and these activities are super helpful for the approaching holiday. I cannot wait to implement these into my pre k classroom. Thank you so much
Thank you so much, Crystal! I’m so happy to hear these ideas are helpful for you. So much fun when we blend art + writing to create kid-centred authentic pieces.
How would you suggest teaching grammer if not using copywork? I have a curriculum but would like to take the skills into literature, is that still copywork ?
Thanks🌺
You're welcome!

Where about's is the details to the link to your webpage or learning materials? Sorry, I'm lost and would love to look into this for my reluctant homeschooler.
Interesting perspective. To help kids feel more ownership of copywork, I like to encourage them to choose their own passage to copy from the book we are reading. Thanks for the food for thought 🤔
so its a fancy art studio
this is interesting, i don't have children yet but it's good to know this.
So helpful, thank you! Some valuable advice and a good reminder of what to expect and what to not push during the beginning phase of writing learning... My 4 year old is just starting to write, and it's so exciting to see him starting to write his own lists of words and seeing how he chooses to spell words... so I'm right there at the stage you're describing ☺️
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Naomi, and it's a great reminder that all kids are on their own writing continuum!
Thank you for sharing this! My kids and I just started homeschooling this year and I wanted a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach for us. I loved all of the ideas you shared.
