Classic Northwest Wet and Heavy, Skiing at Stevens Pass, 12-28-2024
This was the first and last run I filmed that day because the snow turned to rain, the lens got covered up, and we soaked through to the bone. But it was awesome to get on Cowboy Ridge and ski this line in soft snow!
Sorry about the camera angle, I didn't realize it was pointed so far down. Kooks!

Skiing a Sleeper Pow Day on Christmas Eve - Sunday Sendies #69
Переглядів 1,1 тис.12 годин тому
Website: www.skibikesurfdad.com/ In this video, I'm skiing a solo mission at Stevens Pass on 12-24-2024. It had rained a few days before and then snowed a bit and while some parts were scraped out, there were plenty of deep pockets. Where was everyone??? It was so nice to ski with no lift lines on 7th Heaven and Tye Mill. I'm stoked to have gotten these bigger classic lines out of the way early...
(Uncut Video) Skiing Tye Bowl on Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a sneaky pow day at Stevens Pass! It had rained a few days before and there was definitely an ice layer below the powder but some pockets were really deep! The mountain was mostly empty which made for no lines and lots of laps. In this video I explored the steppest entrance to Tye Bowl that was open. It's not my best skiing and I took it easy due to all the early season exposu...

Since it's been warm in the mountains lately I thought it'd be fun to look back at an unedited run on 7th Heaven from a couple weeks ago. It looks like the forecast is calling for temps to cool down and snow to start falling in a few days. Hopefully things fill in and we can ring in the new year skiing powder on the upper mountain! In the meantime, remember, we're all kooks trying to keep the g...

Website: www.skibikesurfdad.com/ Over the last couple of years, some of you have asked for sweatshirts and other merch (blows my mind). Last year I sent out some stickers for free because I didn't have a way to sell them. But now we have a website! Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments. In this video, we explored some low angle pow stashes. It might not look like it with a...

Skiing an epic early season powder day at Stevens Pass. It wasn't bottomless - lots of rocks and hazards our there - but it was very fun. Thanks for watching kooks!

Skiing the Hogsback Resort Gap at Stevens Pass
curious what kind of action camera do you have? do you mount it on your helmet or put it in front of chest?
If you think that is heaven, then you can keep it, that is way too much traffic for me.
What’s the name of this line? Is it off the 7th heaven chair lift?
This is up on Cowboy so there's no trail map name and I'm not sure if it has a local name!
Stevens pass brooks park
dang that snow really wanted to slab
This is so awesome, btw where is the: “I just don’t think it’s smart to do alone jump”?
That's the upper part of Tye Mill just skiers left of the lift line!
@ thanks! Mabey I’ll see u up there some time
First video I've seen of yours. The positivity and stoke was on point. Wish I was out there for a pow day, instead of stuck in Mississippi. Steven's Pass looks lowkey legit when the snow is right.
Hey thanks for watching, glad you liked it! Yeah, fun mountain and good friends in this one!
It took me two whole days to learn
What mtn is this?
Noooo! don't cut the clip at the most exciting part..
Where is this?
Port Gamble, WA!
Ski'd Stevens yesterday. Def some false powder with all the crunch underneath. We need some colder weather so it stops raining then freezing into ice sheets.
Yeah, variable conditions for sure but pretty amazing for how early in the season it is!
I remember my first time hiking the ridge and coming down cowboy. It was a low avalanche warning day but we still managed to cause 2-3 small ones. Used to hit the tunnel creek path every year. After a few of my buddies died back there, haven't had the heart to do it again. Maybe this season!
Sorry to hear you lost friends back there. I haven't ventured down tunnel creek yet because of the history. But Cowboy is amazing zone!
“Its not smart to do alone” Then you fuckin send it. Thats like me on a mountain bike
That looks so fun to go through all the cliffs cause the pow landing 💥
I love to ski stevens! There is so many fun spots to hit there. Great videos, love to watch them!
Thanks for watching, glad you like them!
Fuck yea
Stevens pass kicks ass🤘
Big one🔥
Bro it was so much further of a drop than it looked
Crazy
Bro you sent that Keep up the good vids
Thank you, will do my best! 🤙
It's that baker
Stevens!
That’s so sick, would love to see u up there sometime
Went skiing this christmas and found a clear-felled area with a bunch of natural features and drops. It also had snowed a few days earlier so there was like 40cm powder. Probably close to the most fun ive ever had skiing
That sounds super fun!
Oh my god I never think those areas are skiable 😱😱
Dude you send everything so massive
Thanks, I try to make up for my lack of tricks by going big!
The next Jordy 💪
Yeah i didn't trust my guts a couple times and ended up with a tibia fibia break... Oh and the next year i broke my femur in half. Wise words my man! Stay safe!
Proceeds to do it alone 😮💨
Irresponsible as a father
You gotta love the lift reactions
Keep up the good work love it
Thank you!
I can see those step tracks….but didn’t see the boulder until you were on it!
I knew it was there but wasn't aiming for it
That was a close glad you survived that one man
🙏
Awesome jump at a beautiful area. Nice work! 👍
Hell yeah
Disclaimer: I scoped the landing to make sure it was good to go. Always trust your gut and ski within your limits, kooks!
Hey question: how wide do you think is too wide for an all mountain powder ski? A daily driver ski?
Hey! For a daily driver on the west coast I'd go 95-110 depending on your preference. I have one pair of skis and they're 108.
Awesome running into you in the Tye lift line. Keep posting and making these vids. Love them! I’m at Steven’s 3-4 days a week and watch every video you post.
Thanks for saying hi and watching the videos! Jeally you get to ski that much haha see you up there 🤙
Awesome dude! Coming back from big sky pow was somewhat good!
Lets goooo new video!!! Im going skiing next week and i cant wait, thats why i watch your vids to fill my urge❤ Thank you very much🎉

Yay!
Love watching your videos to scope out line at Steven’s. Do you take 7th up then ski over to the lakes or skyline, hike up, then hit the lakes?
Yo thanks! We do both. The trees are a bit thick still coming in from 7th so we approached from sky here
Vail?
Stevens pass!
NGL I had to go back and listen again bc the first time ‘round I heard “tits up” instead of “tips up”. 😂
🤣
