I stumbled on your channel yesterday.......glad I did. To begin with - I like your method of instructing. I have been playing the banjo for 8 months and have been searching for a tutorial on the "up the neck" licks for Foggy Mountain Breakdown - you nailed it. I plan on watching all of your tutorials on banjo! Thanks!

Is this the last lesson? Seems you didn’t finish this one like the others.
Good luck with your project!
I could not get the like to show up, It looks bigger since you got it mowed!
That is a nice chunk of land you can plant a garden:)
Exciting. I wish you good luck!
Looks lovely. Slow down when you pan around
Fast burning fuel standing still
Shame it’s not all one plot anymore

i just bought it.
Looks good Glen, make sure you check the wheel bearings before you move it somewhere
All is good. Only livening it while I build a pile barn then I’m selling it. I just bought 1.4 acres in Leitchfield Ky. Just a few minutes before this reply..
Keeping you in my prays!! Life is an adventure!
3 4 5 will not play says restart are they put on by another format to 1 2 ???
i cannot get lesson 3 4 to work saying restart laptop but 1 2 play good can not work it out ??
It's a process preparing wood to build and you have a lot of wood there today. I am always trying to plane and cut my wood so I have the right grain orientation which is a pain when it's not flowing the way I need it to. Good work Glenn😊
Would you do another lesson adding the part played up the neck on this version? No one really addresses that part. Looking forward to learning more from you… new subscriber… 👍🏼

No. ITs all home made. From blue pipe. Ill look and see if the where to get the caps.
hey Glenn, I've got a few questions for you about your scarfs when bending. Any chance you have your email posted somewhere? I already have a bending system in place, but I typically don't do the scarfs yet.
hi ill try to answer.
@@cosmic912 I'm just curious how you work out your scarf cut. How long it is and the angle. Or does it not really matter too much because you have to sand it down and shape it round afterwards? I build mostly 11 and 12 inch rims. Thanks btw. Your steam bending jig is really cool!
Hi. The length is (2 PIE*R) then i use a 3 inch scarf for PreWar Gibson simulated rims but some customers want 4" scarfs. i use an adjustable angled jig to hold the planks so the cnc planes the scarf out.. Then i cut scarfs that are the correct angle to make 3 or 4 inch scars. It takes many many bad cuts to find the correct angle for each layer of the rim. Then I write the correct angles down so i can repeat it . after many tries you will find the correct length and angle for each ply of your rim. My rim also have different thickness for each layer. Depend on the customers recipe.
ALSO . it never works out perfect. So I make them about 1/8 to 1/4 inch longer and sand the exces after the glue drys. The wood will shring or expand when soaked and steamed.
@@cosmic912 great, thanks for the info, I'll try some out on some tackhead banjo rims before I try it with my laminated rim process. Appreciate your response. I like the videos too, thanks for sharing your process.
