Loved the workout and excellent cuing. However, the constant mid-roll ads were really annoying.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience! From what I understand, if you sign up for UA-cam’s premium service the ads are minimized or removed. Thank you for taking the class and the wonderful compliments!
@@emilywebberpilates Or you could simply disable mid-roll ads and leave pre- and post-roll only, as most other fitness sites do. That's the accepted best practice for instructional videos like this.

I attend a group class and my shoulders hurt due to pressure on the shoulder pads during footwork. Am i doing it wrong?
Hi! That could be due to any number of issues. Your spring tension could be too high for your body - try adjusting to a lighter spring tension for footwork. You could be tucking your tail when doing footwork - ground through your sacrum and make sure to keep equal pressure through the sacrum (tailbone & backs of hips) throughout the movement. If these fixes don’t help, I would consider taking a private to address this issue your group class instructor. Thanks for asking!

After doing your chest opening one 2 days ago, I thought I'd try this one. Ouf! This one was tough! I had to skip some things to give my shoulders a rest or because the move was not comfortable, but there were definitely some interesting moves. Love the arabesque :) For those of us who do not have the same reformer as you, when you change springs could you each time specify whether your colour is a full or half spring please? Many thanks for your workouts. My back certainly feels loosened up after this one!
Thank you for taking this class as well! I use a Balanced Body Studio Reformer and I do not use half or whole springs. My springs are different colors based on the weight or tension level. I try to always mention how many springs I’m using and whether I’m using light, medium, or heavy springs. My springs are just suggestions - please adjust the springs for your body and/or machine. Thank you again!
Thank you for this workout. I just did it and do indeed feel a nice openness in my chest. I have shoulder problems that my physiotherapist says come from my back so all your cues about lowering the shoulders, opening them, etc helped me perfect my posture while doing the exercises. A few exercises were beyond my abilities so I just did modifications. Again, thank you. I'll be doing this one again.

@@emilywebberpilates doing the hundred on top of the chair my neck needs support how would I do that?
The only other thing is I have low ceilings so sometimes I can stand on top. I sure wish my chair which is the Pilates pro chair had a more comfortable foot pedal because it just kills my feet
@@vickihamari9024 for exercises on top of the chair, you could try a flat back hinge forward at the hips for lunges or mountain climber. I hope this helps!
@@vickihamari9024 for your feet, try placing a sticky mat on top of your pedal for a little additional cushion.

Hi, Katia! Personally, I only do Pilates 3-4 times per week. Some days I will add in a walk or bike ride or some other form of cardio with my Pilates practice. Thank you for taking my class & I hope this is helpful!

It is very difficult to hear your instructions especially with the echo. I have to give up after the first 5 minutes though I would love to continue. Maybe you should wear a microphone like other instructors?
