"Baseball creates the magnetic, addictive illusion that it can almost be understood." ~Thomas Boswell
It seems that all we see in baseball today are corporate branded homeruns, shouting broadcasters, and generally the stories of the top 10%. So I created this channel, for all the beautiful, quiet, imperfect, and untouched moments that quench my thirst and I continue to look for. I hope you will join me as a subscriber on this journey.
Thank you,
Alex Bires

i cant wait for cobbs return
love the wide variety of different arms 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Alternate title: Alex Cobb highlight reel
Some of them sliders were freaking nasty.
No great sweepers in non 2 strike situations? 🤷🏼♂️
I throw a sweeper
Great video! Clicked on this to see how many Kelly and King would have and wasn't disappointed lol
Glad you enjoyed it!
Funny that shohei is on both sides of these🤣
These are some really good sliders
I think rays pitchers really like the sweeper
1:08 i was there 😄
You should add the dates they happened on
Looks like the Astros have fixed neris

My favorite pitcher of all time. If you could make more of these from Brown's career starts that would be awesome.
He's mine too. He was just straight business and so intense out there. He just had that attitude of "You're not gonna hit me" and "Stay out of my way I'm finishing the job." There's no pitchers left like that anymore.
Loved watching Brownie work. Adored his insane intensity, but the one time I met him at a GT Alumni game, he was so low key, almost seeming shy. I’d love to see more KB videos!
@@sallyemartin4240I've been a lifelong San Diego Padres fan ever since my Dad took me to my first game in 1987 when I was 6 years old. The reason that 1998 remains my favorite baseball season to this day is not only because the Padres went to the World Series, but also because I had the privilege of watching Brownie pitch for the team I love every 5th day. I, too, came to greatly appreciate him for the reasons you mentioned. I wish it could have lasted longer, but I'll never forget what a pleasure it was to watch him pitch that season.
i been to his home i no hes son
me and yolmer are frends i no his son i ben tonhis home
hi
Knew he was putting up numbers during this period but DAMN. Dude was flat out nasty.
Buster Posey would never
although I am a Giants fan I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that
He can’t keep getting away with this
David doesn’t deserve what he’s going through. I’m praying for him, along with his family.
I did the same thing that will benson did
Bro it's like 5 games into the season lol
Angels outfielders catch opening day 100x better
Amended :)
Nice work!!
That’s not 112 mpn
That is not 109 mph
That don’t look like 108 mph
WORLD SERIES CHAMP AND DID AMAZING AGAINST HIS FORMER TEAM
bro where is John Schriber and Garrett Whitloick
Whitlock was a valuable contributor but also made 9 starts so I'm looking at pure relievers. Schreiber is definitely an honorable mention here, but he's also a little better known than some of these guys
@@AlexBires What about albert pujols 🤣
Bro just wants views bc I SEE NO 105.8 MPH THROW
It was 105 mph off the bat
Austin Hedges OPS tracker when
He called the announcer an idiot legendary
Also helps having Adley Rutschman place these pitches for strikeouts. I would say Voth and Bradish are worth retaining but the O's need a lefty and D.L. Hall has some promise
Where is Rich Hill?
His fastball actually has a high spin rate
nice work!
I needed this, thank uou
Video is great!!!!!!!
So is Tyler Wells just built different?
Perhaps, but he was injured up until the 7th so I was already done making this video before he came back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Jon Bois would be proud
The second coming, just as the prophecy foretold!!
This is great
Edwin Diaz blown saves after leaving the mariners
I'll put it in the books!
Curious to see a alrodis Chapman blown save compilation
I'd be happy to Rol-dis video up for you
Ok but that jay bruce barehand saved the game (In the moment)
Looks like he either throws a 94 mph fast ball at the bottom of the zone or a hanger over the middle of the plate.
I could watch that all day and I'm from New Zealand (we don't play baseball)
BRUH
I don’t get it
Lol I’m dying bro
