I used to really enjoy the Ard Ri hotel. Celebrated several weddings there. I remember well the Saturday night discos. But later in life I would just have a coffee and enjoy the splendid views over Waterford city

Rome was not built in a day. Lovely to see progress in our country. The Empire State building started1930 and was finished 1931====13 months 56 and half weeks. Started March 17 1930 and finished May 1 1931== 410 days. I was not aware there was one built 1935== 2

God it's painfully slow, when you think the Empire state building was built in 65 Weeks in 1935.😉🐌🐌🐌

That is cool. I had been wondering what those paths across various roundabouts in south KK were.

Will the cruise liners have to dock in this wrong side of the river? The Fishguard Ferry used to come alongside at Merchants Quay. Being able to walk straight into the middle of town is important for the sort of tourists these small Norwegian cruise ships carry. They do not like to have to climb into coaches for the sake of a 1.5 km trip See 2022 pictures on Google Streetview of the ship on the wrong side of the river

Lovely motorway standard by pass bridge, Waterford also has one but alas the 10 KM road between is two lanes that is shoddy and dangerous.

One of favourite drives, dungarvan to waterford along the coast.

Excellent & informative video series, it will make a tremendous historical record of this very important infrastructure development for the city of Waterford. Very disheartening & concerning to see BAM as the main contractor, who are also main contractor on the now infamously late, incomplete, and grossly over budget National Children’s Hospital in Dublin !

Whats being built here on the near side beside the town center at the start of the video? I thought only the far side was where the major redevelopment was planned.

Ground was softer than anticipated or poeple who suposed to prepare the earth didn't packed it properly. I hope operator is ok. This is what freaking happens when you have to rush because managers are idiots
