No humans should be treat like Americans treat Latinos. Latinos have work and still work so hard for this country and I don't understand how they support Ukraine more than Mexico that live on a war everyday. One day USA will knock on Mexico door and Mexico will say sorry we can't help. But I don't think Mexican are bad as many racist Americans.

My daughter just got this and we're here watching this and agreed with you that we latinos, Asians and African Americans should push our kids to be part of the medical fild. Opportunities are out there now our children need to sacrifice and make to the stage to get that degree. I just got my letter and it was very skeptical. The internet says that it's a cash-grab useless program that is over-priced and just a way to get money. UA-cam says it's the greatest thing in the world and that I should apply for it. It's only more skeptical. I am no longer honored to get this letter. Yes, I do want to get into the medical field. Yes, I am proud of my current place as a high school junior. Yes, I am disappointed and embarrassed I got excited in the first place. :/

I also got this invite in the mail and am interested but I am already going to something similar this summer through the NYLF and was wondering if this would also be worth it considering cost and such. Guys this program is basically a scam. I got the extremely fancy looking nomination a few days ago and did some research only to find out that the “certificate” you get for participating is not recognized by any colleges. They say you’ve been nominated, but they most likely got your name and info from college board and got lucky if you’re actually interested in medicine. There are many people who had no interest in medicine but got this so this is some shady business. They feed your ego by saying it’s some exclusive program, but it’s really not and although there is an actual conference and some people seem to have enjoyed it, it’s not worth the money. There are many free programs to consider so try to look for those instead of paying so much money for this shady conference
