Haven't touched a console since I built my pc. Only think about it since I grew up with them.

Hey man, prebuilts are much more expensive than doing it yourself. A pc I sold prebuilt for $800 and it costed me $577 to make. For anyone wanting a PC that can run games such as fortnite well over 200 and maybe 300 in game AMD R5 5600x paired with an RTX 3060 12GB is great. In game I can reach up 400 fps in a build battle. A used 5600x is about $75 a used 3060 12gb is around $200-$250. Paired with a B-550 Wifi motherboard, 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB of storage you can get yourself this build. Now obviously you would need a PSU and Case add that on. $577 or maybe even lower for a great build. Along with many websites that sell Windows 11 keys for as low as $20 that are trusted and have been used by many youtubers and myself, that puts us up to about $600. Plus a KBM is about $100 although for me I use a $40 Silver speed switch keyboard and a $20 Razer mouse. The mouse sounds terrible but I have made $200 in solo victory cups with it. So then your up to about $700 a 240hz G-Sync monitor is $140!! which is a great price to performance monitor and the same one I am using to type this. that puts us to $840 and assuming you may not have a desk or chair. 51 inch desks are about $60 and a good chair with lumbar support is about $60. Now if you are a casual gamer which weeposters seems to be. A R5 3600 is about $50 used and a GTX 1660S is $90 used. A B-550 MOBO, 16gb RAM 512gb of storage along with a 500w psu and mATX case is $400. The 3600 1660 build on fortnite can get you a good 200 fps on performance and everything on high DX12 you will maintain a steady 60-80 FPS. Now in other titles on all high the FPS will maintain a 30 (for games like RED DEAD 2 on all high) to 240 (games like fortnite on all low). The 3600 1660 build will still be great for internet browsing and other activities.

i just like pc better because its just cheaper and worth my money, but if you dont want to figure out how to build a pc i can get you only wanting a console or a steam deck because consoles are just so easy to play on but im tired of having to pay hundreds of dollars for just subscriptions and 60$ for each game unless theirs a sale but that happens every blue moon.

Problem with cloud gaming is that not all the games on steam are on geforce now and xbox game pass. My GF wants to play a upcoming life-sim named inzoi and it will most likely not be on geforce now as the other games of the developer aren't on there either. Cloud gaming could be good but at this point the library of games are limited.

To be honest, I didn't watch the video but I liked it because of the title. I agree with you. I bought a computer for 1500 dollars and I don't even play games that need this pc on it lol all I need is fl studio and couple games like cod and smthn else. I'm mostly playing on steam deck and ps 5

I own a 350 euro pc with roughly the same performances of an xbox series s. I pirate almost every game, never spent more then 1 euro per game... you don't need super expensive computers to enjoy gaming. Consoles are for teenagers or unaware people.

GeForce Now is only for Singleplayer games, it's completely not worth using if you are going to play multiplayer games. The latency will effect you when other players are around.

Cloud online gaming has lots of latency. Good for singleplayer, maybe.

im also from canada, and me personally i enjoy the process of building my own pc, and also owning a physical system, never know if the internet goes out and you wanna play a single player game, or use it for other things then gaming, like work or school.

i think you need to study a bit more about the hardware space and etc. alot of your testing was kinda dumb, like the latency tests. PC gaming and console gaming are for different people. PC allows me to have everything at one place, along with modding games and having full control about everything. i prefer this more than a console, but i can accept the fact that consoles have their own advantages - like more consistent performance and no hardware related graphical issues, along with unified systems of parties and etc. each one should choose for themselves what is more fitting for them
