Sorry to hear about this😔 I’m not sure what can be done about this. But I suppose in the future, if you simultaneously distribute and release the video, those platforms like spotify etc. can prevent someone else distributing the same audio?
i guess that could work, but i was using a free service that was pretty strict about sampling and stuff like that, so it wouldn't let through a big part of my discography :') i did have plans to switch to sth like distrokid but first i need to have the money to do that
@@yamikowakun Ooh I see. Yeah, I have similar problems with this strict rule required for content ID. I think in the long-term, people will recognize that the originals come from you, and disregard the channels that steal from you. But I wish you all the best in solving this issue, regardless.🙏🙏

Spotify has tools to take down things even if you are a smaller artist. It is worth a shot to try to get this person's uploads there removed as I do believe all you need is to prove that you're the owner of the tracks. Either which way, this is pretty scummy and I'm really disappointed to see this. I've been subbed for quite some time so I do hope there is a resolution to this.
i'll try to find something. the tracks this person uploaded are ones i haven't distributed myself, the only proof i have of them being mine are the youtube and bandcamp uploads. i hope that's enough

I just listened to all 3 of the songs that were just uploaded and I have a few things to say I’VE BEEN DEAD SINCE 2020: hey I had just turned 14 back on February 2020 :O seriously tho when listening to that song, it had felt as if an old wound opened up again. It hurt but I liked it. Reminded me of the things I had felt around that time. NEVER ENOUGH: it really captures how it feels to obsess over someone or something. FRAGMENTS OF MY SANITY: tbh I don’t really have much to say about this one. It’s really good, I like it. One last thing I have to say about all 3 songs. I was listening to all of them through the playlist and I noticed that they all blended so well with each other that it felt like listening to 1 long song. That’s pretty cool!
