I'd suggest NOT routing the propane line through the frame cutouts and inside the underbelly. there is always potential for a fitting to leak, filling the underbelly with propane. and if a stay spark happens... There is a reason the builder routed the gas lines outside along the frame. other than this, great work!!

I need to do this to my 2023 KZ280TH. Noting is wrong but I need to mount etrac inside the toy hauler. Don’t want to risk hitting a tank or anything I shouldn’t. I will sub and watch #2 video. USE WD40 or any rust removal on your suspension springs shackles, etc. Get them free to move. They will break. Looks rusted on video.

Lovely view of the KOA "Kampground" at Elk City, OK. Stayed here in August 1970 with my parents in the middle of August using a Sears tent. That pool sure came in handy due to it being just a tad warmer than when you made your video.

I am glad you are attempting to make your trailer better suited for cold weather. I have learned a lot about this from the school of hard knocks. The added insulation is good, but you have to have a heat source to keep the water lines flowing and it also helps to keep the heat in. I just got done removing my coroplast on my 2018 Solitude fifth wheel and I replaced the fresh water tank heating pad with a larger more powerful model. The original pad was 77 watts, the new one is 160 watts. I have heat durcts from the furnace blowing into the belly, but I found many areas where the factory shorted the fiberglass from reaching frame rail to frame rail and they didn't put any insulation under the drain portion of the fresh water tank which is where the feed line to the water pump is located. In the past I was making it to -10 before my water would freeze up, but this year it froze at about +5, so I think the fresh water tank heater quit working. I also have a diesel heater that I have ducted to pump air into the belly to keep the plumbing warm. It works well, but when I found all of the areas that were missing insulation I know why I had cold spots inside the trailer. I went one step further and I spray foamed the outside of the frame! Think of the frame as a giant heat sink, when it gets cold out the frame is transfering the cold to the belly. It is kind of hard to stuff fiberglass or fit hard insulation to the inside of the frame rails, so the outside is an easy choice. On my last 5er I cut rigid insulation and fitted it to the outside of the frame rails between the flanges, it makes a big difference. I also put heat tape on my water lines on my last trailer so that I could keep them thawed when I was running my generator.

Great video and stunning scenery. It's sad lots of people had obviously driven on the salt pans though. The rock formations in the fall arches park are incredible. Any idea when the arches fell? Great stuff 👍😁
