Making an ostrich inlay knife sheath with Witchdoctor Zero
Hey buddy, sacks arent worth 150+ dollars nor are the Hobo ones. That’s literally duffel bag money and a high-quality one at that.
@@cc5855 who said they were? I'm glad you felt the need to get that off your chest here on my video.

Thank you thank you thank you so much!! I just finished my first handle and now my thumbs can barely type but it looks so good!!
Very solid presentation! Inspired to do my first flogger. Subscribed.
Thanks for the great tutorial! I was wondering if you could provide a model / link of the pliers you are using?
Those are parallel jaw pliers from Amazon and the little cutters are from harbor freight
How do I contact you? I have a convoy I need repaired...

Thanks for the inspiration! Can you give me direction on what wire to purchase. What I have keeps breaking as I twist/pull. Thank you.
👍👍👍
Another fascinating watch with some helpful hints and tips. If it wasn’t being used for a seat it’d be an awesome back patch! Great background music and just the right amount of talking to explain what’s going on with rambling 💀🤙
🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
Interesting process to watch & fantastic idea with the chop stick & the paint brush 😁
Thank you! Cheers!
hello sir. so I watched this video & nice work. I have a seath made that is solid ( it folds the sides together if you understand what I mean ) I want to know HOW do I add my Ostrich skin inlay to this kind of seath that I made?
ua-cam.com/users/shortsgSy7Sre31tw?si=R1Myw6jvH-X1Jb6b
Thank you! You'd have to do the inlay before the sheath is sewn, but I'll put an instructional video on our roster.
@@WitchdoctorZero Thank you & thanks for the reply. I want to ask, will the inlay still work or be worth it for the seath I've made? As you can see in my short video, it is a solid seath that's folded in half. so I'd appreciate if you could show me how to do the inlay on this seath. Thank you very much🙏
Good day. is there a possibility that you can help me with my fold-over sheath inlay from outside UA-cam please
Great knuckle duster!👍🇬🇧
That is awesome. 👍🇬🇧
Nice job 🎉❤🙂
Suggested smoothing method for a rectangular (wood mallet) handle?
Hmm...I'd make sure the leather is thin and well conditioned veg tan and use a light twisting and bunching...that's what I'd try first.
Very Nice work sir
one of my favorite videos.
"You do not know why you are not wearing gloves today" Have you been drinking?
Damn nice work go’n on here!
Very impressive, nice video. Just ran across this artform.
do you have a formula for calculating the length you'll need?
I wrap a piece around from where I want to start, to where I want to finish, in a spiral, edges touching...then add around 6 inches and double that. That would be 1 piece. You then cut another piece the same length.
@@WitchdoctorZero thanks man! love your work. hopefully I can make some badass tool handles
I just saw a video from one of your sap buyers. That's a work of art, beautiful item! Like your Channel too❤👍🏻✌🏻
Nice!
Amazing!
Took a couple of minutes to get my head around but now I know I know. Great clear instructions and good camera angle 👌
Agreed 100% I did have to hold my phone upside down though lol
👍🏿
Yes very nicely done, you can tell you're a skilled worker because you're calmly talking and explaining at the same time.
I've been a mechanic my whole life. I know the difference between people who are comfortable in their craft and people who are not comfortable in their craft. A lot of people who are not comfortable in their craft show it and are overly focusing on little imperfections. As to where listening to you felt like going in sitting down next to one of my elders to get schooled for a minute. It was very enjoyable to watch. If there's one thing that everybody's going to lose with technology it's going to be Hands-On skilled craft like this or hand pinstriping a car for example. Because you can't teach these skills in a book. Why a lot of times people don't appreciate the cost of something they think that they watched you do it and x amount of time that your your current present time all the value that you're worth. It's like no sun sit down I've got over 50,000 hours into this I'm a master okay you're paying for my time before so that I could do it in a short time for you now. And that's what's ruining the market for skilled Craftsmen because somebody's going to go undercut them and the client doesn't know the difference until they've already bought it or they don't even care. I don't mean to rant but when I look at something like this that's what I think of
@@SHAMAN.VISION thank you so much! We seem to be of the same thoughts.
How thick is the leather youre working with? Can this technique be done on a handle that isn't round, like an axe?
Around 2-3oz leather, can be on odd shapes...measure circumference and divide by number of plaits.
Very nicely done. Much appreciated.
Where did you buy your grip? I like it. I looked up leather grips online and can’t find one that covers the whole area like the one you have. You have a link?

don't like it. Looks like a tangled mess.
Thanks. I was looking to braid a walking stick handle and this works great. Have modified the method for an 8 strand so it conforms to the curve better.
I wanted to purchase one of your SAPs. I don't have Facebook. How could I contact you to have one made?
