Good question and I do this exact same thing for my weekly AI Power Play emails. I currently use a mix of Perplexity and SearchGPT vs browsing around on Google News. This would be a perfect use case for a Perplexity Space and you set custom instructions on which sources to use, avoid, etc.

Yea Poe AI isn't bad I've used it before. Access to all LLMs is useful but my biggest issue with Poe is the usage limits. You will run out of usage much faster on GPT-4o or o1-preview for instance vs a ChatGPT Plus subscription.

Just did - "An AI agent refers to a system or program that is capable of performing tasks on behalf of a user or another system." Are Claude Projects or Custom GPTs not technically AI agents based on this meaning?

​@@RyanDoserAI Agents work autonomously. Claude is cool and Computer Use brings it closer to acting as an agent, but I would not consider what you've done in this video to be creating an AI Agent. It's cool and useful though 👍

That was one of my first questions when diving into it lol. So the good part about Spaces is you have larger file storage compared to a project, you get real-time Internet browsing, and you can use different AI models beside Claude. I believe you can also create Spaces on a free version of Perplexity. I do like Claude Projects but the more I think about it Perplexity Spaces seem to offer more functionality

Yeah I guess I meant like where is it better/worse than projects? I’m a paid perplexity user, but I am wondering if there’s benefits of switching to paid Claude and using free spaces

Not sure I would agree with LLMs being "barely useful." They are barely useful to most who don't know how to use them.
