Hola! Que alegria en saber que van de vacación!!! Disfruten mucho!! Bueno usual mente yo llevo un set de ropa por día por persona, si quieren participar hay usualmente una noche de blanco, otra caribeña, dos de captain( noches de gala) y una de los años 70’s. Yo usualmente trato de que me vestuario tenga elementos de esos temas pero no llevo disfraces. Por lo menos una trusa por persona. Muchas rositas para andar. Antes yo llevaba mucha ropa y resumidas cuenta que casi nunca lo usaba todo junto me levantaba con un Set de ropa y me pasaba el día con ese Set. No era común para cambiarme antes de ir a cenar. Hay tantas actividades terminas el día y tienes que correr a cenar y no te dio mucho tiempo. a mí me gustaba terminar el día tranquila y sin tanta ropa acumulándose. Para las nenas, tienen más o menos la edad de las mías. Yo llevo muchos chores y muchísimas camisas para ellas. Usualmente llevo tres pares de zapatos para ellas. Unos zapatos de agua, unos tenis para poder correr y jugar en el área de deportes y para que caminen en las islas. Y un par de zapatos elegantes que puedan usar por la noche para cenar y para las noches de gala. Usualmente yo hago lo mismo.

Hablo de llevar ropa normal no estar todo el dia en chanclas y bañador obvio, se peude estar de forma relajada siempre con ropa casual? la verdad que no me apetece complicar mi equipaje con ropa formal como si fuera a una boda...

Lo que me gusta más de los cruceros es que nada es mandatorio. Puedes ir vestida de los temas si quieres los temas son por las noches, no durante el día. Verás que en el itinerario del crucero explica cada día las actividades y el vestuario por si quieres participar. Pero el vestuario es para ponértelo por las noches y puedes andar por el crucero completo con ese vestuario. Pero como te explico, no es necesario ni obligado. Yo por ejemplo nunca voy en tema. A mí me gusta usar la misma ropa el día completo. Y no me gusta cambiarme varias veces y gastar ropa. Yo me aseguro que no tengo que llevar tanta ropa en mi maleta llevo más o menos por día y más o -3 ropas de emergencia y un vestido bonito para las noches de gala. No es mandatorio vestirte de gala pero si explican que si vas a comer en el Dining Room que por favor vayan presentables para la comida Son los únicos días que le piden que se vistan más elegante. No es necesariamente un vestido sumamente formal pero bien presentable

@@user-ng4xr6gv8x wonderful questions! We walked the entire day and discovered that way, I would say it is walking distance but you’re looking at a possible 30 to 45 minute walk from the W hotel . I highly recommend walking to your destinations because you will see so many incredible opportunities for shopping, food and experiences. If you’d like, take a taxi to La Rambla and then from that point, moving forward walk and explore you’re going to see so many incredible things. As far as Wi-Fi, most businesses have Wi-Fi so if you sit down and grab a bite to eat, chances are you will have access to it. I wound up paying a plan with my service provider that allowed for me to use my phone as I would in the US. It helped me a great deal because I did not have to look for Wi-Fi passwords or stop to gain access if the Wi-Fi connection went down. All in all if you’re looking for some good food and shopping, I would say start here and work your way around from that point. Keep following us because I will share the best restaurants and shopping in videos coming up.

I didn’t think to call my phone service provider, so I will look into that today. We were told by the W that taxis will be available daily outside of the hot, but were concerned that taxis wouldn’t be available late at night when trying to get back to the W. We will definitely take the advice and take a taxi to La Rambla for shopping! Thanks again! Appreciate your video ☀️

@@user-ng4xr6gv8x how exciting! If I may offer a few more suggestions. August is the hottest time in Europe. I highly recommend getting some sort of air fan that you can attach to yourself to cool off. Nightlife in Spain is very much prominent so you will see that there’s a lot of people out in the later hours of the day. if you’re going to the W you’re going to enjoy probably every restaurant they have in the hotel people come from all over Barcelona to enjoy some of the meals there. Room service at the W is incredible. certain providers already offer the opportunity of using your phone all over, I called my cell phone provider because I was also on a cruise during that period so I had to be sure I had cell phone service at every point, and they were very gracious and gave me lots of information. I just did this out of precaution as well as calling my bank to assure them that I would be traveling so when they see charges on my cards they don’t stop them from processing because of “fraudulent charges”. There are plenty of taxis at the front of the hotel all throughout the day! If you download the app for taxis, you can call a taxi using your phone at any point in the day to help you get back to your hotel. We use this especially at night when it was a little harder to call a cab. I also have an episode (episode 2) where I show a room tour. The rooms at the W are all so incredible, but I absolutely adored the layout of mine. You may want to check it out and see if there’s anyway you can snag that room by requesting if it’s available for your stay.

Would you suggest making reservations for the restaurants at the W before we get there, or should we be able to snag a reservation once we arrive? Do you know if they offer early check in? I booked on the Marriott Bonvoy app, so I do know that they have the mobile key option. We get there at 9:20am, and was just going to leave our bags and walk around until check in. And that's good to know concerning room service! I'm sure we'll be tired at some point and want a break. I called my phone provider (I have Metro by T-Mobile) this morning, and unfortunately they said they do not have any towers in Spain. They suggested I either buy a SIM card once I get there or switch to another provider temporarily. I think I'll just wing it and hope for Wifi. I did call my bank this morning too. I had this happen to me a few months ago in another country. I couldn't get the fraud alerts, and I didn't have Wifi so I was unable to make the purchase. My bank said if I insert the card instead of tapping it, it will be less likely that I will receive the fraud alert, so fingers crossed on that actually working out. I'm going to bring Euros too and just try to pay with cash everywhere. What's the name of the Taxi app? I checked on Uber, and I see that taxis are available in Barcelona on the Uber app, but I watched another video that said the Uber ride will never come. I watched your episode 2! Beautiful room and spacious! We'll be in the King suite with sofa bed and partial view! We really just want to shop, eat good, and experience the culture. You know, all the important stuff! lol I appreciate you taking the time to respond!🙂

As far as the restaurants, one or two restaurants are closed on specific days, so be certain to check what those days are. We ate at the Fire restaurant and it was spectacular! Coya is closed 2 days out of the week. as far as needing a reservation, I don’t think you would need one. Dining there gets very crowded around 9 PM if you plan on getting dinner prior to that you should be fine. I shared a bunch of super cool locations, shops and restaurants all in walking distance from the hotel on my Instagram page @teatimewithalohaandcoco . Super amazing food spots and desserts that I know you will love! Follow me there for all those details. I think you have taken wonderful Steps towards a successful trip! On another note, the app for taxis is Yellow Taxi Barcelona & AMB and they use the “glovo” app as their “Uber eats”

@@kelleywells3728 hello! This is a great question. It will usually include an appetizer, the main entrée and dessert. Sometimes you can even ask for two appetizers or two meals. They work really hard to give you an incredible experience! The only thing you will have to purchase is alcoholic beverages, or Coke products. If you’re going to go to a restaurant, I highly recommend Izumi or chops grill.

Hola! El buffet del piso 16 que se llama windjammer que es buffet es completamente gratuito. Cambian de comida para desayuno luego cambian para almuerzo y la cena. Tienen de todo tipo de comida y es deliciosa! La mejor parte….. gratis! Lo único que tendrías que pagar es si decides tomarte alguna bebida alcohólica, o algún producto de Coca-Cola. Pero, si compras el paquete de tragos, es incluido!

Desafortunadamente no hay hora específica. pero, yo lo he hecho anteriormente y nos toco a una persona que nos dirigió y hablaba español y le explico todo a una familia que solamente hablaba el español. Puedes llegar al crucero y preguntar si hay un empleado que esté dirigiendo que hable el español y ellos te ayudan con esto! Fue una experiencia sumamente divertida!
