Route Aggregation/Supernetting for IPv4: Solve with Example
Переглядів 3 тис.4 роки тому
Supernetting is the process of summarizing a bunch of contiguous Subnetted networks back in a single large network. Supernetting is also known as route summarization and route aggregation. Aggregating routes allow you to combine groups of routes with common addresses into a single entry. The first advantage we get here is decreased size of routing table. Second advantage is that the routes inst...
Juniper Routing-Configure Static Route: Hands-On Lab - Juniper Networks JUNOS
Переглядів 1,5 тис.4 роки тому
In this video we talk about a simple yet interesting concept about static routing in Juniper vMX routers. In this video we have implemented floating static routing with preference and illustrate use of qualified next hop and it affects the routing decisions based on the preference value. Static routing is often used at the network edge to support attachment to stub networks, which, given their ...

BIG IP F5 Address Persistence - Source and Destination | Hands-On Lab | BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager
Переглядів 3,2 тис.4 роки тому
In this video we talk about address persistence feature of F5 appliance using profiles. When you configure session persistence, Local Traffic Manager tracks and stores session data, such as the specific pool member that serviced a client request. The primary reason for tracking and storing session data is to ensure that client requests are directed to the same pool member throughout the life of...
BIG IP F5 Address Translation - NAT and SNAT | Hands-On Lab | BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager
Переглядів 5 тис.4 роки тому
In this video we implement NAT and SNAT on an F5 device. The video comprises of three parts: 1. Implement NAT: NAT is one-to-one mapping of public and private IP addresses. You do not need a virtual server or a pool in this scenario. Traffic coming from outside to the public IP of server is translated to private IP of the server by the F5 appliance. 2. SNAT Automap: SNAT is source address trans...

What if we need communication between the regions? So the goal would be that we create regional mesh to keep the tunnel limitations on cEdges in check however they need to communicate across the regions as well at times.

I've got a question, I have two DCs(Hubs) in the network. Each datacenter has one vEdge and both the DCs advertised same routes in the OMP, DC1 site id 100 DC2 site ID 200, both DCs have 1xMPLS and 1xInternet circuit. How can I influence the route in way that the spokes will always choose to install the route from DC1 and only use route from DC2 when DC1 fails.

Thanks for the video. It is straightforward when you have just one VPN. Maybe you can create a video where you have multiple VPNs and you make just one of them the Hub and Spokes.
