Early spring fly fishing for HUNGRY brook trout!
You scream like a girl. Grow up
I like how you grunted like doing some serious work haha. Mean that in a cool way, least your having fun and nice fishin'. I have two blue ribbon fishing rivers by me, but nothing as beautiful as that scenery.
Nice fish
Not a bad one for this tiny creek!
Bahahahah I use bigger fish for bait.
For some, fishing is about the beautiful places- not the size of the fish
It would be nice to know the name of the creek.
I like to keep spots like this unnamed
@@currentfisher That is your prerogative. However, it significantly diminishes the value of your video.
@@bruchadamo Do you think I care? Fisherman have been keeping their spots a secret for ages!
@@currentfisher Do you think your viewers care about your fishing prowess? If you didn't care, you wouldn't make a video, except the thing you care about is only your ego. So, I hope people read this exchange between us and stop watching your videos because nobody cares to watch you fish without more. Nevertheless, a purpose of UA-cam (and the reason I watch it) is to facilitate learning. Your video teaches nothing - all it does is make people wonder: Gee, where is that nice place that has Greenback Cutthroats in it?
@@bruchadamoyou’re making a lot of assumptions here just because I’m not saying where this is. Go comment on someone else’s video that doesn’t share their spot (there are plenty)! I would not wish anything bad upon you so let’s just be kind here and not get all angry because I’m keeping my spot hidden. Has nothing to do with ego and has everything to do with keeping places like this protected.
Yeah it is weird those fish weren't spooked, if I did that around here in streams like that that fish would dart to safety. That Cutthroat was a pretty fish. I wish we had them on the east coast.
I feel like most fish I go for would have been spooked too! Maybe they were in some odd mood. Thanks for watching!
I caught one today about the same size. They are awesome!
Congrats!
Is that the narrows
Yes
@@currentfisher cool I have been there sooooo fun and exhilarating cold and the best hike I have ever been on. Have fun
@@sarahlouden2022I wish I could say the same but there were far too many people there to really enjoy it 😂 Zion was beautiful though
@@currentfisher I went there in the middle of July there were a decent amount of people but not to much. At one point point I couldn’t stand up.
Werareyuoat
Rocky Mountains!
Where are you?
Colorado!
Nice trip out. Man that water has to be cold! Like 40's cold
Thanks for watching! This was early September after some hot days so the water wasn’t actually that bad.
What statearyuoin
Hey i live in lakewood. Would love to do some carp fishing!
There are plenty of good lakes to carp fish out there!
Have you ever tried fishing the Big Tomphson?
I have! Just fished there last month actually and did pretty decent. How about you?
@@currentfisher I am thinking about going up sometime soon or early spring I was wondering what nymphs were working ?
@@AmenTomphsonI got them on midges and hoppers but that was September
Yeah man Rockies
Yeah buddy!
This video is awesome..I take a lot of fish videos myself
Heck yes!
Where?
S. Platte drainage, Colorado
Lake Marie is my happy place.
I can see why! What a stunning area
The rainbows are rare here, there’s also a few cut bows. Whatever I catch a 16 to 20 inch trout here it’s always a rainbow or a cut bow.
Nice I caught a monster rainbow a few years back too. Pretty hard to come by.
I used to fish Bear Creek for two summers. I really enjoyed it. Got to know the fish because I would catch the same ones over and over. The only problem with it is that you have to be careful how you play the fish in the summer. The water gets significantly over 70°. State record brown trout came out of this creek. It was a fish that swam up from Bear Creek Lake to spawn.
Beautiful fish
Indeed! Thanks for checking it out
a creek that small, with all the potential for snagging, I'd just be dabbing.
True!! I left out many a hang up in this video 🤣
Air sungai sangat jernih..👍
Almost too clear!
All that trash and chemicals help them grow, good video.
Haha true!! Thanks for watching
Beautiful lake for sure!🐟👍🏻
Can’t beat places like this!
was this in the last week ? heard the lake was low and being drained didn’t know if it was true or not
Is that so? That’s wild. This was a month ago.
Heck yeah hopefully Bigfoot doesn’t steal your tent
Thanks for watching! Safe to say I survived Bigfoot 😂
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Hey! Good job 😊
Thank you!
The dream stream ?
Sure looks like it! Not the dream though
Awesome video brother I wanna get into fly fishing just because of some of these beauties
Wow that’s awesome! I highly recommend trying it. Thanks for watching.
Where did you catch these at my little brother and I have always wanted to catch a musky
There are several lakes in Colorado that stock tiger musky if you google them! I won’t say where this is located.
Yo good job!
Thank you!!
RMNP or i70?
285!
@@currentfisher I won’t drop the name, but Tarryal drainage?
Awesome dude
Thank you! Thanks for watching.
I was on the Blue last December throwing a tiny Rapala 2 inch in rainbow trout color, worked so good.
Heck yeah sometimes they are great depending on the day! And streamers.
I needa find a good alpine lake like that. I know of one with giants but not very many. Wanna trade spots?
Thanks for watching! Hit me up on IG @currentfisher
Crazy we have tiger muskies everywhere around here northern wi. Nice catch man. That thing around here is just a baby but I have no idea how they grow out there.
That’s cool I need to make it out there! They are in several lakes in Colorado but just in very small quantities making them tough to target.
California area?
keep the location a secret, would hate to see this place littered.
I agree! Unfortunately it’s not much of a secret though the place was LITTERED with people when I was there
good fishing thats crazy fun
Thanks for watching!
Aggie ?
Theatre?
Hey great video! Just wanted to ask how do you find fishing spots? Is there a resource you use? Thanks!
I used to use Fishbrain but honestly I just love looking at maps so I try to find an unfamiliar creek on forest or public land and then go take the time and miles to explore. I do strike out at times but that’s part of the adventure for me!
Thanks! I have issued Fishbrain in the past but I’ll have to try maps!
@@IanWall-gg5fsit might be tedious just looking at a map but you’ll find some spots that other anglers have missed!
Sweet
Lets goooo Brad
Great fishing! I love that area. It is truly spectacular!
You know! A special fishery indeed.
That is an awesome looking creek! Some beautiful trout caught. That one hole near the end there did look like a a place a giant would be hanging out. You still gotta show those little guys some love. Haha. They're all fun. Put 'em back!
Awesome Creek indeed! Thanks for watching Joe!
Nice video! Looks like a great spot
Thanks for watching!
When you fish clear creek how much tip it do you do you use on your dropper ?
Thanks for watching! I haven’t fished clear creek that much but when I was there last fall I was fishing about a 2ft long dropper.
That's awesome. Camping right on the lake and catching some cool looking fish. Put em back! Definitely don't have a problem in my area with the water being too cold. Even the mountain streams are running pretty warm. Not the best conditions for trout, so I've mostly been targeting other species.
That’s a good idea to go for the other fish when it gets warm out. It’s been hot as heck except in the high country here as well.
Dang! I’ve got to go target grayling next.. they look so cool
So cool! Do they live near you?
@@currentfisher yeah they do! I’ve got to wait now until September apparently. So stoked
Amazing scenery! Grayling are such beautiful fish
I agree you can’t beat both! Thanks for watching!
