Railfanning peak of Fall in NJ 2024. FT. EX AMTK Dash 8 YN2 1776 CN SD75I
This channel and video is G rated since 11-15-19. As I'm slightly getting use of Capcut. Here are my catches from Late October into November. From the Keystone cabcar trailing on Amtrak 122 to NS K76 in the fall peak in Manville and NJT Arrow on the Princeton "Dinky" Branch at the Delaware and Raritan Canel park in Princeton. Sorry about the fence. Its the only way to keep my phone on the bridge than being fall in the canel. Over to West Trenton for the rare catch of M403 with 1776 with a Ex Amtrak F40 to Juniata Terminal for NJT Riverline. M404 had a heavy AC44CW 5115 leading. Then the M403 lashup came. Pretty neat lashup. Manville again for a evening grab and go for 23G in the sunset fall weather. Drove from Raritan Valley Through Hopewell Valley and then made to West Trenton for M300 and I157. Went back to West Trenton again for M404 waiting on M403 which have a YN2 Dash 8 CW leading. Finally a throw back unit leading. A double catch. One over at Princeotn Jct. cause track 4 was out and got some good action before the B705 clear Union later on as I got home. As I got to West Trenton. M404 came with GEVO power which I chose not to flim. You can see the photo of M404 on my Facebook. Night shots are hard. Just crank you ISO, adjust your AEB setting known as exposer comp settings, and don't use flashes unless the second or so unit is rare like BNSF trailing. Yes. Otherwise you'll be call in. Just saying. The B705 were two CN SD75I units which have the ekyrail e bell. Im sorry I don't hate them. It just not good on those 75I's. A mechanical bell is better. Just saying. @@RandomRailfan828 it is a good chase just you pay attention at all cost. I heard in early October one of the railfan got rear ended by a new license driver and total the railfan pickup truck. At my first spot I almost tipped the barrel and least “I picked it up and fixed it” before the F units came. Nobody yelled at me thankfully. Thanks for checking it out
I apologzie for some clips that have dirt on the leans. I cleanned it off as possbile during the R&N trip. Also the Camera again for the NH&I run as well.
That’s a good deal of action captured. Liked the CSX HUs, YN2, NS 1065 etc. the only 2 HUs I’ve seen so far are NS 1067 (Reading Lines) & 1066 (New York Central). Greetings from Tennessee.

I've been commuting between Jersey Ave and NYP for the better part of 21 years and have never recalled seeing an NEC Amtrak consist led by a P42DC. Nice catch!!
Yeah it’s rare you see them leading even to NY Penn Station of course they turn the engine off to prevent emission fog in NY Penn and then start it up again prior to departure. Normally it’ll be taken off in New Heaven or at least trailing. Thank you glad you enjoy it

Hey! I'm from Manville, New Jersey! 😀 That's near North 13th Avenue. Also, that RR crossing in Montgomery Township, NJ. 😀 The West Trenton/Ewing Township station - Is that a former train station (both sides) of the Central Jersey or Pennsylvania RR?
Thanks for the feed back. Yeah I knew it’s Montgomery Township since Skillman is a apart of it. Also the West Trenton is still in service by Septa and it’s a former Reading Line as well. After 2014-15 septa and CSX each have it’s own track and CSX goes around the Septa yard to reach CP Summit.

They test run during the evening hours like after 8pm if schedule to do a test run.
