I've had one for years and to be honest it's a good honest bike. You can pick up one very cheap and just use it. Keep it original in my opinion it seems to work better like that

I have a 2000 katana 600 for 2 years so far i love it...did stage 2 dyno jet with a hi flo air filter and oil filter...bike us plenty fast and handles great

As my first bike I just bought the exact same one 2 days ago! I think you have great taste and if you can, you should keep it.

The Suzuki GSX600F / 750 is a sport touring bike if you want speed get a Suzuki GSXR600 / 750 or change the sprockets on your GSX600F 750 i have rode my brothers Suzuki gsxr750 my son's yamaha r6 my cousins kawasaki zx6r and my Suzuki GSX600F and my bike does just fine running with super sports bike the katana is the sports touring version of the Suzuki gsxr

I had this exact bike 10 years ago. Comfortable, quick, cheap insurance and perfect power. I've had 8 bikes, this was one of the best. 80 to 110 horsepower is all you need to have a blast. I've had a gsxr 750, my dream but this was more comfortable. I wish they still med them.

it's ok do some mods then do a video, you just talked about an all stock bike, owe you upgraded the exhaust with a slip on, I have a katana 750 it's a great bike few mods to keep up with the gsxr's. do some upgrades then video.

Great bike man, I just picked up same bike as your two days ago (in yellow and black) and they are a great all around bike. Good power, comfort and you can take a nice trip on it without killing yourself. The main thing is the price and the insurance cost are crazy low.

As a former owner, in search of one to replace it, even having had a very highly modified (inside and out) 750 Gixxer since, the Katana is a great "All Around" bike. It's no speed demon, but it's quick, but not as quick as Gixxer's, R6/R1, 636's and the like. I was able to get my 600 in the 140's, the 750 in the 150's. They're plenty fast if that's what you need. Fast enough to kill you. It's NOT a Super Sport. It's a Sport-Touring bike. It has it's limitations. It's not nearly as nimble to throw around as a full on Sportbike designed for that kind of stuff, but you can still have fun in the twistie's, however, Isle of Man TT or MotoGP performance it will never see. Because it's heavier, which is where the comfort for the touring part comes in, and the revs are lower. But it's no where near as heavy as either one of my Harley's. The engine is a detuned Gixxer motor for all intense purposes. And that particular engine, as with just about all Suzuki motors, is damn near bullet proof. It gives a guy, or gal, the best of both worlds; The ability to get the blood and adrenaline pumping for some nice country curves and a little hot rodding, as well as the ability to lay down several hundred miles in a day without noticing that's what you've done. I used my Katana for, and did both. But to hint that it compares it to Super Sport's or Liter Bikes is well off the mark.
