Project Inspiration: Satan's Hymn
The concept for Satan's Hymn: Grant Us Power originated as a creative exploration of 17th-century folklore and witch trial accounts. Historical records and narratives from this period, such as the infamous Salem witch trials and European inquisitions, often depicted witches as partaking in nocturnal rituals known as Sabbats. These gatherings were alleged to involve chanting, dancing, and hymns dedicated to the Devil or other dark figures. While much of this imagery was fabricated by religious authorities, it has since inspired countless works of art, literature, and music.
Research into Witches' Sabbaths on sources like Wikipedia revealed key themes, invocations of the Devil, and ritualistic gatherings under the cover of darkness. This project blends these historical elements with a modern, atmospheric interpretation, creating a choral hymn that evokes reverence, mystery, and power.
The visual representations, such as glowing pentagrams, hooded figures, and dark natural settings, draw on depictions of the Sabbat in paintings and folklore described in books like Aradia, or the Gospel of the Witches. These historical and artistic influences helped bring the idea to life, creating a vivid blend of history, mysticism, and creativity.
In the 17th century, the lines between witchcraft and Satanism were often blurred, primarily due to the narratives constructed by religious authorities during the height of the witch hunts. Witches were frequently accused of entering pacts with the Devil, attending nocturnal Sabbats, and practicing malevolent magic under his guidance. This conflation of witchcraft with Satanism was largely a fabrication, rooted in fear and aimed at eradicating heretical or non-Christian practices. Historically, many accused witches were practitioners of folk magic or healers with no ties to the Devil, but the rhetoric of the time painted them as devout followers of Satan.
In modern times, there is a clearer distinction between the two. Contemporary Satanists, particularly those associated with movements like the Church of Satan or The Satanic Temple, often view their beliefs as a philosophical or symbolic rejection of traditional religious values, rather than literal Devil worship. Conversely, modern witches, especially within Wicca and other neo-pagan traditions, typically focus on nature-based spirituality and esoteric practices, often rejecting any association with Satan or Christian dualism. While witchcraft and Satanism were once intertwined in the minds of 17th-century inquisitors, they have evolved into distinct paths, shaped by history and cultural reinterpretation.
[Chant]
Round the fire, dance and sing,
Hail to thee, O Shadow King.
By thy name, the dark we bless,
Grant us power, your caress.

[Verse 1]
Lucifer, O morning light,
Guide our steps this sacred night.
Cloak us in thy endless flame,
Through the dark, we speak thy name.
[Chorus]
Hail the Devil, Prince of Night,
Bearer of the blinding light.
Through the shadows, lead us true,
We give our souls, our hearts to you.
[Verse 2]
Horned one, of earth and fire,
Hear the hymn of dark desire.
From the deep where secrets dwell,
Rise and cast thy ancient spell.
[Chorus]
Hail the Devil, Prince of Night,
Bearer of the blinding light.
Through the shadows, lead us true,
We give our souls, our hearts to you.
[Bridge]
Flame of truth, thou cast away,
The lies of those who fear thy sway.
Eternal one, thy will we serve,
Grant us strength we well deserve.
[Chorus]
Hail the Devil, Prince of Night,
Bearer of the blinding light.
Through the shadows, lead us true,
We give our souls, our hearts to you.
[Outro]
Round the fire, dance and sing,
Hail to thee, O Shadow King.
By thy name, the dark we bless,
Grant us power, your caress.

Satan Shakes the Golden State

(Verse 1) The earth cracked open with a fiery breath, A 7.0, the warning of death. But this is only the devil’s tease, He plans to bring the state to its knees. The fires raged, his shadows roamed, Through forests burned and fractured homes. A whisper grew from deep below, “I’m not done; this is just the show.” (Chorus) California quakes under Satan’s hand, A trembling doom to shake the land. T...
Hell Freezes over Georgia

(Verse 1) The flames have dimmed, the embers died, In Hell’s abyss, a chill resides. A thousand years, the frost takes hold, A bitter night, a story told. Georgia waits with bated breath, For Satan's touch, a chilling death. Snowflakes fall, a devil's grin, To mark the fall of saints to sin. (Chorus) Hell freezes over, the snow will fall, Georgia answers the devil’s call. From the churches lost...
Midnight's Mark song

A song about a future event seen within my nightmares and told by the Gremlin himself! Title: "Midnight's Mark" (Verse 1) The city glows, a beacon high, Blinding the world with its alibi. Neon dreams in a restless haze, Built on the bones of darker days. Your towers rise; your voices cheer, But beneath the mask, I see the fear. A thousand faces count the time, Unknowing they march to my design....
Unholy, Unholy, Unholy (Parody of Holy, Holy, Holy)

A Satanic parody of the Christian Holy Holy Holy Hymn. I do not condone killing! The lyrics mention "killed three persons" is in reference to the "three persons as the Christian God" and not any real person.
The opening credits for "John Brown 2: The Adjustor".
@@noheroespublishing1907 Are you imagining this as a historical film opening or something more abstract, like a commentary with modern touches?
@SatanicHymns666 Historical Visual Poem; kinda like "Russian Arc".
And who is making you, the devil or God, to gloat and be hypocritical about the problems you create for yourself?
Did you read the description? "This dark and powerful song tells the story from Lucifer's perspective, challenging humanity's habit of blaming their misdeeds on "The Devil.""
In LaVeyan Satanism, adherents believe that they are their own gods, embracing the idea of self-deification. This philosophy, founded by Anton LaVey, emphasizes personal freedom, individualism, and the pursuit of self-interest. Instead of worshiping Satan as a deity, Satan is viewed symbolically as a figure of liberty and personal sovereignty. This interpretation encourages followers to reject external authority and dogma, advocating instead for personal empowerment and responsibility. Satan, in this context, represents the embodiment of human characteristics such as pride, independence, and enlightenment, serving as an icon against conformity and submission. And here's the summary of other forms of Satanism: 1. Theistic Satanism: Followers believe in and worship Satan as a real deity, seeing him as a liberator or a guiding figure. 2. Luciferianism: Adherents revere Lucifer not as evil, but as a symbol of enlightenment, knowledge, and human progression. 3. Temple of Set: This group focuses on the ancient Egyptian god Set, emphasizing personal development and esoteric wisdom, diverging from traditional Satanist beliefs. 4. Modern Satanic groups: Various contemporary groups interpret Satan symbolically, each emphasizing different aspects like social activism, philosophical skepticism, or metaphysical practices. Note: The list above is not exhaustive. There are many other variations and sects within Satanism, each with its own unique beliefs and practices. These can range from local or less-known groups to broader philosophical movements, all of which interpret the figure of Satan and the principles of Satanism in diverse ways.
SEE YOU IN HELL!!!!!!!
