So, on my last day in Tokyo, I decided to spend some time at Imperial Palace Tokyo. To get here, I took a direct subway from Ginza subway station till Sakuradamon Station, which costed somewhere between ₹95 - ₹110.
I was so heavily impressed by this suburb and palace architecture. This place has beautiful scenery of ponds and gardens, along with high rise residential buildings and skyscrapers.
I thoroughly enjoyed this view, while walking up to Imperial Palace, which is the main residence of the emperor of Japan, and it is built on the site of the old Edo Castle.
The Imperial family lived in Kyoto until 1868, but eventually the capital city and Emperor permanently moved to Tokyo and ever since then this palace is the home of the royal family. I visited The Imperial Palace East Gardens which are important part of the inner palace area and have been open to the public since year 1968. I highly suggest visit this spot, to make the most of your time, as you can enjoy peaceful environment with lush greenery and scenic nature views.
