@@Xalgucennia at least at rare rarity for orks you want to get a dmg buff thutmos to snipe snappa or snot. You want to position yourself where they can't surround you or spam you. ( Bridge, narrow path) So that boss waagh can't be used to its full potential. You also want aleph double hp so if he blows up he can kill any grots and deal lots of dmg to orks in melee. They are really strong and can be tedious but i see this match up more on map rng. I would put orks at 50/50 or maybe 60/40 because maps are small and often wide open.

@@wishkor1 i faced 1 team only in ranked of deathguard. At rare level it is manageable depending on buff you get and if you can snipe rotbone.

@@nighthunter3217 yeah, I just use them at their lowest level. Will 100% get the last chest.

@@nighthunter3217I’m also using Necrons at rare. Doing fine except against orks who are very difficult and maybe death guard which is roughly 50-50.

Glad you enjoyed it! Been playing themed since launch. While not the best i had lots of practice for this exact moment

@@moonshadow1413 thanks! Glad you like it. It is the first tournament where we can see more than a 1 turn mega howl spam. I really like this game mode with the locked faction :)

@@nighthunter3217 He definitely could be useful in LREs. They've shown they will add restrictions/tracks as needed to require wider rosters. For the Survival event, his passive was completely ineffective. His damage was good but he was not tanky at all. I'm sure it (the passive) will be better in Arena/TA/GW, but he didn't impress me.

Surprised there was no kroot character added like ULF for spacewolves.

Yeah I agree. I hope they reworks old stuff or include better character to help out some teams like they did with titus.

@@pybro4755 glad you liked it. I know that many teams are really better using like 3 core member and moving around with other faction for the 4th and 5th member... But Snowprint made some synergy with whole team together and i wanted to push that to the limit and actually see what themed team do best in pve. New teams actually doing better is not surprising but some teams are way underperforming if not splitted and mixed with other faction it is kinda sad to see!

@@moonshadow1413 yea i had this information stored on my pc with notes here and there but our talk on discord made me actually order those notes and i decided to make a video that reflect how i see the game as a non meta player and how i use my themed team to their best match up.

Theme team but fun

Sadly all my account is basically built as a theme for fun account. I do not have ''key pvp'' character leveled to match in random composition team. My necrons that is my strongest team like you said is doing horrible in Ta with all the Forgefiend spam and people using $ bullets $ and the rushing with kharn and ragnar. I still manage to win around 60-70% of my game because people mess up. My goal is an account dedicated to GW more specifically + themed oriented to show people how the team actually perform as a whole instead of picking up the best of every faction and being another meta slave. I want to push the limit of the 5 man team. Tournament arena is not the place for them to shine and i agree with you but some character are still fun to use as people are not expecting them!

@@nighthunter3217 You're not far off having a semi-decent team, though. Just remember to upgrade the the skills to level 17 and the weapon and armor/shield to an equivalent of uncommon 5.

@@tamaskarsai2072 i did think about it and i am fine to level it up to 26. Because that is the silver cap i need to clear most of the story mode and also for pvp in guild war. You are 100% right it may backfire if they rework character i might be in a pickle but in the short term getting those will secure me a good foothold to build up from. And it is not long to gather badge that are common, uncommon, rare. Epic and legendary i save them for character that are deserving of it for sure cause they are the hardest to get

@@boybibimbap20 haha many thing i have going on beside that 6 gold :P I paid both event to get the bonus mission and more reward per mission. My roster is wide enough on silver to complete the lower tier and complete them. I always used all my tokens. No idle time being maxed out. Sheer fucking dedication to getting him and not missing out xD

@@PureShrewd noted. Ill try to remember them. Its just that i have an horrible memory for those name... As a gamer, many "item" are called the same but mean different. I still call blackstone... gem like another mobile game i played. I will try to improve on this for sure!

@@xxxxx9xxxxx9 yea seems like aleph diamond is the requirement. But i think i can all do it with gold 2-3 as a whole team when i get there. Currently upgrading orkd and spacewolves. Necrons are on the bench while i use salvage to gear them up

@nighthunter3217 yeah I didn't think about either saw another content creator I think it was draupnir said to do campaigns on Saturday and save your salvage runs so you have 2 stacked Saturday morning do one then you'll get the reset allowing you to get 3 salvage as well and I was surprised how well it worked think I got 150k gold just doing that

@@jampoh3909 personally. I like him but he take time to master his positioning because he is extremely fragile as a glass cannon and your only true tank killer. You want to either have him on the side and jump into their commiting frontline as they are stuck in scarabs or if you are facing more mobile and less tanky team i like to "sacrifice him" to allow anuphet turn 2 summon and out swarm them. But that said. I think he is on the weaker side of the necron team because of how fragile he is.

Thutmose has plasma so he has the most pierce of the crons but he is very squishy

@@gabrielortiz3811 some people just select key character that can solo story mode and super upgrade them to save ressources on not upgrading a whole team. That way they can also use other key character to min-max other game mode. I just dont. I like building teams that have synergie together and use them as they were meant to be. Is that the most efficient way? No. But is it a blast to use character that are never used for lore or fun reason? Yeah!
