Here are the four modifications that I believe you should leave out when you are customizing your truck! Tell me in the comments section what is on your list!
First Thoughts of My Thuren Kit
Переглядів 9 тис.2 роки тому
I have had a chance to put about 1000 miles on my Thuren kit and here are some thoughts!
Installing my Thuren kit and some "light testing" of the kit
Переглядів 9502 роки тому
I got this Thuren Suspension kit on in about 4 hours. Here are a few clips from the install, and a few more clips of me testing out the suspension set up on some dirt. Footage provided by Gray Filter Photography
How to adjust the "new style" drag link for your 2019+ Ram 2500
Переглядів 10 тис.2 роки тому
TL;DR adjustments start at 1:53 on the video. I couldn't find any videos on UA-cam about this so I made my own. Here is the way to adjust your drag link to accommodate a new lift kit. This new style is on all 2019 trucks that completed the original drag link recall.
Unboxing My New Thuren Leveling Kit For My 2020 Ram 2500
Переглядів 3,1 тис.2 роки тому
Here is the prequel to my install video. I take you in depth on how I selected my parts, and what I am most excited for! The truck is a 2020 Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel. Up front I went with the 2.75" lift with the 2.0" Fox IFP Shocks. The rear is up 1" from factory on the Thuren soft ride coils, and the 2.0 Fox IFP Shocks.
What do I think of my Icon Leveling Kit

Mountain Biking at The Chutes Vlog

This is the day I took my bike out for a short ride at The Chutes. This is a favorite ride among a lot of people in Colorado Springs. This trail is very fast and flowy!
Mountain Biking at Mount Herman Vlog

I took my bike out to the Mount Herman Fire Center, Monument Preserve open space area. Here are a few of my favorite trails!
why why why do you guys use crescent wrenches?? Just get the correct size wrench instead of stripping bolts.
Hey there great video thank you. Quick one how do you get esc warning light to turn off
I already had the AEV ProCal and was able to get rid of the light that way. But you may be able to go to your auto parts store to clear that
That was helpful. My 2023 Power Wagon was steering wheel was at the 1030 position, and adjusting it myself kept me from taking it in to be fixed.
Do you know the torque spec of the clamp nut?
Short and straight to the point, no extra bs. How it should be. Thank you.
Can we get a review and night view of the Baja design fog lights?
Sounds like this kit is for mall haulers
Hi, what steps do you have installed? I like that they don’t drop down as much as others. Thanks
They are the Westin HDX
@@bryandirtnsnow2121I’m running the same steps. Love them. What’s the height difference between the front and rear with the 2.75? I run a 100 gallon L-tank and don’t want to squat to much with a full tank. Wondering if I need to stick to the 2.5 level.
I was just looking at thuren suspension videos and im glad i found yours cause i had no idea that professional grade auto shop rentals existed!!! Gonna take my power wagon in and get a full thuren suspension installed MYSELF lol…great vid man.
Glad I could help!
Money saver lol. Just did my track bar and was confused. Thank you!
What wheels did you go with???
Raceline Clutch 20x9 (+12)
Super awesome honest review. Definitely helped me decide to not go the icon route. I wish every suspension system for these trucks had such an in depth description of ride quality.
Good info!
Is there a video for a 2019 Ram 1500 RWD?
Got any before and after videos? Looking at the 2” level with the factory rear or the 2.75” level with the factory rear or perhaps the 2.75” with the 1” rear, trying to decide!
Great looking truck!
Thank you! Took my truck back to the tire shop after new tires and alignment because my wheel was off and they couldn’t figure it out. So simple. I was able to adjust by hand after loosening the 18mm bolt. I wonder if that’s normal 😅
When I hit even the smallest bump on the Regular roads it sounds like a clunking sound. My first heavy duty so I’m not sure if that’s normal or not
Probably not normal. Check back through and do a shake down on ball joints, track bar to start, and then I usually work my way through parts that you worked with when installing the lift
I have the same set up on my 3500 2021. It feels real clunky in the front end. Do you know why that would be?
Did you have to have the ignition “on”? Or truck completely off
It was completely off when I did this
Fyi, the endlinks mount on the inside of the swaybar and bottom mount. Opposite how you have it. It may or may not matter.
Was about to tell him the same thing
Wrong direction dude… just had mine done today. But yours helped thanks
Yea I had to turn mine opposite of what he said to get my steering wheel to go back right.
I’m sure this is a stupid question but did you have to jack the front end off the ground to do this?
You don’t need to jack the truck up at all. This adjustment is done on the ground
Nice set up!! I just installed the full Thuren King 2.5 Kit. Got the front 2.75" coils and the rear 1" coils along with the front sway bar and rear sway bar links. Also got the front and rear track bars. The 2.5 Kings are valved stage 2 both front and back. My truck sees the highway most of the time and all I can say is the ride is way better than stock. The rear does zero bounce now and maybe thats the Kings working along with the rear track bar. I just need wheels and tires now as the stocks are looking a tad small. What are your wheel and tires specs? Thx!!
Wheel and tire specs are 20x9. Best to stay on the + side for fitment on offset. I went with +12. The tires are 37x12.50. The Mickeys I ran were a bit small. They measured out to about 35.5 when it came to the pressure I was running
Rockstar wheels looked bad back in 2005. Method, AEV, and Black Rhino are the best looking aftermarket wheels for RAMs. American Force wheels depending on which ones look bad on a lifted truck. Just my two cents.
Totally agree with you raceline has some. Nice wheels as well
I got a leveling kit installed and I’ve taken it back 3 times to get the steering straightened out and they can’t get it right and now I know why my truck is throwing that code. After watching your video it took me 5min to resolve. Thanks a ton!
I did mine yesterday and after tightening everything. Went for a ride and steering went towards the left now and drives straight. Wondering why??
Adjust your castor to drive straight….. 0.5*-1* more on passenger side to compensate for road crown.
Sick. Thanks bro helped out
Nice truck? I am between the Carli 3.25 and this Thuren 2.75 kit. What is the height of the center of the front and rear wheel wells ans or the height of the fin on the roof? I am very curious to see if there is a difference in height between the two even though there is a .5" differnce in the description of each kit. Also curious why the Carli requires the front radius arm drop bracket and the Thuren does not. They sure look like they lift the truck about the same... Thx again!!
Thank you !!Was Looking to buy icon suspension but since that reviews with customer service are so bad and the Seals seem to blow very early on. I think I will have to go with another brand...
Yeah I was upset by the service and lack of extra product to perform warranties, however keep in mind my review on this kit is for this valving specifically
Thuren or Carli--either way, you can't (and didn't) go wrong....Nice review!
What leveling kit do you have on your truck? Thank for the video
Thuren Leveling kit with the Fox IFP
What trail is that is that in Colorado? i’m looking to take a 2500 Off-road .. everything‘s made for Jeeps
This is just Rampart Range Road
Epic video brotha. Another coloradian here. I got the level kit from icon as well for my 2019 raptor. Did you install yours? Or did you take it to a shop? I'm having issues finding good spring compressor so put part of the kit on .thanks.
Hey great to meet ya! I did it myself but it was pretty easy to do given my truck is solid axle. Those raptors are a bit more labor intensive
@@bryandirtnsnow2121 yeah I bet! Well thanks for the response. I ordered some compressors online from a video of someone installing the same kit. Hopefully they work!
How’d that go? Mission accomplished?
@@bryandirtnsnow2121 So far not yet. Just got back into town. Will keep you updated.
2022 Ram 3500 adjusted perfectly! Thanks!
Ill give you a like for that review. I have the TF kit with kings and I do feel like my ride is night and day better. Maybe not 1/2 ton truck but definitely more baja feeling.
That’s dope. Which valving? Most people go with the stage 4 I think
Do you want to sell your icon suspension? I’ll take it if you still have it
It’s for sale here facebook.com/marketplace/item/1480453745801445/
I'll throw ya a like though bro. You have good intentions
Unless there was a ride height upgrade, I feel like you were better off with the full icon kit man. That's not a cheap kit. You're obviously not well versed in various brands but those res shocks on the icon kit cost about 1200$/set more than those base model bobo fox shocks. Maybe atleast slap those back on and you'd have one hell of a starter kit
It honestly got to the point where I could flip the kit and come out well ahead of trying to fight with icon on “maybe a warranty maybe not” when I sent them videos of stiction in the rear shocks. I sent them in for the revalve and warranty and they should be back soon to sell the kit
Icon would not be on my list with 2.5” or bigger shocks.
Awesome review. Appreciate the honesty. I’ve been eying the icon kit for my 2500. Also being from Colorado, most of my off-road use would probably be at low speeds so maybe this isn’t the way to go.
I think thuren and Carli both have the best product. Low speed id go fox 2.0 and the sway bar upgrade. Those help out in our low speed stuff
Ia this a 2” leveling kit? Is there any rubbing in the front fender?
2.75” thuren coils in front. I did the typical where I took the plastic back, and the pinch weld on the cab
@@bryandirtnsnow2121 How much of the pinch did you have to cut?
What offset wheels did you go with?
+12 on a 9 wide
Have to do this tomorrow. Thanks
It’s super easy! Glad they got rid of the other style
This is helpful! Thank you
Looks good, please update on your thoughts
