Thank you jim again for getting this back up again personally I kind of like this band a bit better than rascal who ended up winning the fan poll because this bans had 2 guitarists for which this song required plus this bands singer actaully sounds a little bit like he could hit notes like sabastian bach could at the time and a little simalar even if this song is not showcasing his vocal range and is a bit mediocre. But all of the band has stage presence and not just the singer which is key. The only thing that would hsve been needed was some keyboard strings in the background and had both guitarists doing some great guitar solos trading off and the drummer with a big drum kit. But other than that if the singer could hit those high notes well they should have done the recording of the song ladykiller but this is a good example of why you don't let 50,000 soap fans pick who records the, song you tease them a bit but you never let the soap fans pick the band even if they are good musicians because the song can come out messed up.

Thank you jim for getting these episodes back up the quality is much lower VS the original ones but still happy to see these back up again. This is during the band auditions for lady killer video coming up but this band was defenetely all wrong for ladykiller rascal I think was good for their song but when it came to the arrangement of the lady killer song it was recorded all wrong from some of the arrangements to the key of the song. And it sounded very outdated to me when it got recorded from the John leofler demo version which is coming up it should have had a much more queensryche feel like operation mindcrime had or something like that I think rascal could hsve gotten that now had someone who actaully understood the genre worked with them on some of the arrangements and keys plus helped the bamd with more stage presence during the lady killer video shoot. Again thaf understood bands like queensryche or accept or iron maiden or judas priest or even Ronnie James dio or even skid row then with sabastian bach.

What happened to Mac is very similar to what would happen to the late actress Natasha Richardson years later after she injured her head. Just like Mac she also didn’t want to make a big deal of it reportedly. Unfortunately that decision would cost her her life. Everytime when I watch the episode with Mac it reminds me of the same unfortunate decision that she made.

This is a reupload to put together the two parts and make the full episode.

Back then scenes on soaps lasted longer during the 70s and 80s. Today (2024) a scene between both Taylor and Rick or Mac and Rachel wouldn’t last this long. Maybe a minute or less. These shows were building up characters back then. The audience were getting to know them.
