Monterey California and the 17 Mile Drive
Hello friends! This week's video is throwing back with the final installation from our Northern California trip. We spent the day in Monterey California and we walked around the downtown checking out all of the incredible shops as well as completed the 17 mile drive. YES!! Gorgeous colors of the sun on the rocks!! Have you ever stopped at Hadleys on the way to Palm Springs and had a date shake?
It’s SUCH a gorgeous place to visit! Also one of my favorite places to camp! I’ve actually never really done Palm Springs yet! (Shocking, I know) but I’ll have to add you’re recommendation to the list!

We were pretty brave with the white shoes!! Towards the end of the day Stephanie submerged her entire foot in a sandy/muddy puddle!! RIP to those shoes lol! But it truly was such a gorgeous day !

California really just had such a versatile range of beauty! We walked through the village but didn’t spend too much time in any shops. We mostly spent time outdoors because of how crisp the air was! And with views like that we weren’t rushing to be indoors lol! Just wait for the Laguna video next week! The colors in the sky and on the water will just take your breathe away!

My mom is a TROOPER!! Shes always been that way! Sometimes she’s the driving force getting on all the rides! And as far as blacking out, on a ride when you experience high positive g forces the blood rushes out of your head. Which can sometimes lead to a “grey out” or a “black out” where your vision goes in black in white or you lose your vision. Not having eaten or getting rest prior to experience those g forces can increase your chances of experience this

Loved it! I TOTALLY forgot that this dropped 5 days ago. I have deep questions now: J is afraid of HEIGHTS??????? I am as well but I would never be able to go on any of these coasters. Is he lying or does he not know what "afraid of heights" means???? And 2, you did a book report on THE Loch Ness Monster or the COASTER Loch Ness Monster? Inquiring minds want to know. .
Roller coasters don't really bother him because 95% he feels locked in and secure, however with traditional drop towers your feet dangle with nothing below you and rather than a fun windy track layout to distract you from your surroundings you are static and just slowly climbing upwards. He doesn't like that. And I in fact did a book report on the legendary ride Loch Ness monster, not the actual legend. I hope this clarified some things for you :)
