I'm all about educating people on calculus, physics, the SAT, and all forms of math. School always came easy to me, but I know it doesn't for most people. I discovered in college that I'm really good at tutoring and explaining things and being patient with struggling students. That's why I want to give back with free tutorials, explanations, etc. on this channel.

Amazing ❤❤❤ video
Thanks!
@danthetutor2624 H Cl is covalent but told me one element in periodic table is left and other elements is right side the bond is ionic but bond H Cl is covalent plz tell me
It’s a special case. It has to do with the electronegativity values of H and Cl being close together. But I would just memorize it.
Aw man i wanted a prize
What did you want? How about a Dan the Tutor t shirt?
Hlo
Wait , does the y component have to be greater to reach the ground first ? Or smaller
Higher (more positive) y component means it will hit the ground last.
I could be wrong but I think you made a mistake on the last problem. To simplify 32 you used 8 x 4, 4 being a perfect square, but it is not the HIGHEST perfect square. The highest perfect square would be 16. To simplify the square root of 32 you should've used 16 x 2 . Might be a mistake in my thinking but please let me know!
We’re both right (there’s more than one way to do it)
@ thank you for clarifying
hello. sorry to bother you. just curious how you find the range of possible values d?
Hi! love your vid hehe. I'm a slow learner. how did the 1mm become 1x10⁻³? hehe. tHANKSS!
Because that's the scientific notation for millimeters (or you can divide by 1000 to make it .001).
Wow. I was having so much trouble finding the net force. Your video was the perfect explanation. Thank you!!!
Thanks! Happy to help!
GOD BLESS U. BELEIVE ME MAN WHEN I TELL U I have you in my prayers. I TRULY WISH GOD BLESSES UR FAMILY and UR CHILDREN, and ur Grand children, and ur gold fish. BECAUSE U ARE HELPING a struggling BOY LIKE MEEE THANKS SO MUCH!! U MADE MY DAY
Thanks!
Hi Dan! Thanks for the tutorial. Just wondering, for the second question, why can the test charge not be placed to the right of the charges? From there it would be attracted to the -8C charge, but repelled by the +5C charge (or the other way around if using a negative test charge). Would that not work? Thanks!
9:44 it has to be closer to the smallest charge
a tutor who tooted the flute, tried to tutor two tutors to toot. Said the two to the tutor, "Is it harder to toot, or to tutor two tutors to toot?"
The last helmet example is probably wrongly explained. Suppose light coming from the left side, the sequence is air, film, glass, and eye(right most). Then the light coming into eye only undergo one phase shift( in film-glass interface), while the another reflected,phase-shifted light ray go in the reverse direction and never get into eye. Note: 1. transmitted light ray doesnt get phase shift 2.reflected light ray which goes from large n to small n doesnt get phase shift Try to draw all the rays out (reflected and transmitted rays) in each interface and you will see what i mean.
I respectfully disagree. I think you're ignoring the phase shift on the air-film interface, but I'm not sure why.
what if you echo at a stationary position and the observer is moving then?
I’ve never seen that case, but I’m sure the same rules apply. Let me know if that doesn’t make sense.
WRONG this whole video is WRONG there are more than 8 groups and I also have proof...
this is brilliant
Thanks, I appreciate it
hey! video's absolutely great! loved it!, but what about NH3?
NH3 is covalent (it's a special case)
@@danthetutor2624 hey @danthetutor2624, can u make a video on this special case, please?
@@danthetutor2624 hey @danthetutor2624, can u make a video on this special case, please?
But how about water, H2O?
It's covalent because hydrogen is a special case. Hydrogen can be covalent or ionic.
@@danthetutor2624hm that makes much more sense, thanks!
@ However, I am quite conflicted on what hydrogen bonds are.
Very helpful thank you!
Happy to help!
You are such a great tutor 👍
u beautiful man, thank u
Thanks! I try to keep myself well groomed.
how about hydroxide why is it covalent bond
The short answer is because hydroxide is a special case. The long answer has to do with their electronegativity values being close enough to form a covalent bond.
Love from india thank you ❤
Thanks for watching!
Really helpful
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Great video Dan!
Thanks! I do it for students just like you.
this was so helpful, thank you!
You’re very welcome!
Hi! Could you please explain where equation T = 2 * pi * sqrt(l/g) comes from. Thanks!
Honestly, I cannot. But I can tell you that it's the simplified version of T = 2 * pi * sqrt(I / (mgd)), where I is moment of inertia and d is the distance to the center of mass of the pendulum. You only use this complex version when the pendulum is not just a ball on a massless string (textbooks will refer to it as a "physical pendulum").
Hi sir
Thanks a lot. You really helped me.
Thanks! I did it all just for you.
in 9:06, how did you calculate to 10 m/s?
amazing bro , seeing this video from syria med school , thank u vm
Happy to help! Thanks for watching!
Where does hydrogen fit in this scheme ? (Hydrocarbons utilise covalent bonds.)
Hydrogen is a special case. It can be both ionic or covalent depending on what it's bonded to. It would take me a while to talk about all the hydrogen cases.
Thank you very much I am Arabic and I am Libyan and I cannot speak English but I did the translation and this helped me very much again thank you ❤
Wow, that's really cool!

Watching this video in exam before one and half hour Thank you sir for this explanation ❤👏

Thanks for the lovely comment!
The moment of inertia when the kid moves towards the pivot point is lower(decrease). Damn!! I acknowledge ur teaching..
Decrease because the kid towards the pivot radius decrease.
Yep
Thank you sooo mcuh for your explaination, it s very useful for my exam..
Glad it helped!
Hi about the 1st problem Why is the bottom of 343 - 20 has the minus on it? Is it because the vehicle goes towards you?
Yes, exactly
@ oh ok,the usual towards and backwards thing
