Does it snow in Malaysia? only at Christmas!
so this is a year old, I suppose you relocated by now. Everything you're not getting used to are the very reasons people want to relocate there, so i'm a little confused. Perhaps you're helping others go elsewhere?
Been in Algarve a few Months and in Marbella 5 Months. So as for roads: Compared to Costa del Sol, Algarve has great roads. In Marbella region you are slaloming all the time around potholes and speedhums. Also the flipside of having mamy people around you in the winter like in Marbella is the traffic and crowded feeling, while Algarve might be more relaxed and chilled.
Interesting to know, thanks for that. I have to say the roads have got quite a bit better recently
There’s a bull up the road from me that is the biggest mush and likes his cheek scratches.
I grew up in Lagos (2003-2013). My parents still live there. It’s refreshing to see some honest opinions about the Algarve. I would also add the lack of job opportunities for the youth there. I would say out of 20-30 of us growing up there only 2 still live there.
Is tha so bad Portugal what fu. .you still live there go elsewhere as Portuguese i find people like you very annoying
May I ask what month of the year you visited Lagos.Thank you for sharing some of the coastal paths and beaches. I admire the town of Lagos for acknowledging it's unpleasant historical part in the slave trade and educating future generations of Portugals past shame and mistakes. I hope other countries will do the same.
Hi there, I lived in Lagos for around 2 years so I've see. It at all times if the year
Angus Bulls are a fuckload more friendlier than Jersey Bulls. That’s for sure!
😂😂 what a stupid video little man,go back to England, the food and specially the wether is better😂😂, England is a paradise right,no social problems with this government and with mass immigration and a lot of things and these fella come where talking about cold water and roads and stupid bullshit when England is a mess completely into chaos, dirty ,shit food, with the dirty kebabs everywhere, fish and ships😂😂,shut up and grow up
I am thinking to move there. I am from slovakia so i am used to no turists in winter and bad roads haha.

Yes! Well spotted

Not one shred of evidence provided.
Apart from the studies mentioned?
I guess for stereotype Americans and Brits every place outside their boundaries is a culture shock. Inform yourself first, show tolerance and demonstrate capability to adapt. Or stay home. Probably better and quite simple straight forward.
What do you wamt to say with that?
Not sure what you mean?
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing. 👍5
Thanks for watching!
Great video again matey. Looks nice there, I've not been. Maybe one for next time I'm in Croatia.
Thanks mate, not too far up the road from where you went
Awesome video mate, really well put together. That cake at the end looked amazing. 🤤
Thanks mate, it's was delicious and VEGAN!
Turkish Airlines have been our go to airline for our annual trips from Australia to Europe for a number of years, the business class food (more than needed) and service has always been outstanding and I manage a decent sleep which hasn’t always been the case on other airlines. Very excited now Turkish Airlines is flying out of Australia though the leg to Singapore with Singapore Airlines has always been good also.
I couldn't agree more! Thanks so much for watching
Nice video. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing. 👍1
Thank you for taking the time to watch, much appreciated!
Classic standing staggered start!
Nice video mate. Another lovely area and that blue water 😍. Why didn't you go on the bumper cars though?
Thanks mate, last time I went on bumper cars it almost tore my kneecaps off!
Looks like a beautiful place mate. Great video tour.
Thanks mate, it's a super pretty town
That's a fiddler crab It does that It's trying to get all attention of a female
Very interesting video mate, looks like a lovely place. Rather expensive though. I could almost buy another bin bag tent for that price. Not sure about that see-through bathroom though. 😬
Your bin bag tent is see through!
@@mrwilliamstravels yeah, but I don't often go to the toilet in it!
This guy I so boring 😴 so negative
Thanks for the feedback!
You have more patholes in country don't be silly you still go back to country by by
We jokingly call the Algarve Morocco. So, you've been kind of living in the Morocco (Lisbon is still Moorish too).
gracias 🥾
Thanks for watching!
I have a neoprene vest (no sleeves) and it works wonderfully to take the cold water edge off.
Me too! Definitely one of my best investments
Although my experience is limited I had an impression that water is colder in the west and warmer in the east of Algarve. It was quite surprising how different it was.
ok thats interestsing, the west is certainly more exposed so maybe that has something to do with it
I live in the Eastern Algarve. Yes, the water is warmer here. We have huge swaths of shallow water that the sun warms quickly. In the height of summer it can even be hotter than the air!
100% correct, sotavento water warmer than barlavento
Swim in the Ria Formosa… that’s always warm. It’s quite different to the Atlantic beaches.
Yep that's a great point!
Bad roads ? No way .. the roads here are pretty good! Bad drivers? YES .. the Portuguese have a shocking safety record .
GREAT!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the review. Did you notice if they ran out of certain dishes on the menu before they reached the back?
Thanks for watching! No not thelat I was aware of, they seemed to have plenty of everything on this flight
@@mrwilliamstravels Thanks for responding. Happy travels💺

Really nice video. Great photography and informative. Thanks!
Thanks, really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and comment
Thank you for this. I was looking for shorter routes to MEX. Was considering Iberia but this has changed my mind.
Nice review, short and to the point.
Thank you!
I could not believe how weak they make strong coffee there!
Seriously!? Most of the coffee I've had has been super strong! Like if you order a regular coffee you should get something similar to a double espresso
@@mrwilliamstravels yeah even the portugese coffee shop at home makes very weak coffee
@@jetsetjourneysofficial wow im surprised, or maybe you just have a much higher caffeine tolerance than I do 😂
Your expectations are not going to be met anywhere! Your are just that whingeing complaining Pom who won’t be satisfied anywhere.
Well not true, I love Portugal and these aren't my expectations just observations I made whilst I'm here
@@mrwilliamstravels that's good
Hi There, thanks for the informative video. I have a friend that will be flying business class from Washington via Istanbul and on to Cape Town. He will probably have an 11 hour stayover in Istanbul. How did you book the private suite? Is that an offering with Turkish Airlines in their business lounge or through a private company in the airport building somewhere? Thanks.
Hi! Thanks for commenting. So for the private suite there is a concierge desk immediately inside the Turkish business lounge and it can't be booked in advance unfortunately. We had to wait around an hour before one was available for us, but that was no problem. Best bet is to go to the desk straight away and see what the availability is like. The suites themselves are right next to the lounge area
@@mrwilliamstravels Thanks very much for the reply. I have shared your video with him and will let him know about the private suites as well. Thanks!😃
@@Normanabutler1 my pleasure, hope he has a great time and manages to get a suite ok!
Correction: Imperial is 330ml. A mini is 200ml.
I disagree I'm afraid, my girlfriend worked in a bar also and an imperial was always 200ml
You're definitely in the wrong country! If you don't like it, why are you here? We don't force anyone to come here, you can go back to your country!
I actually love it here, these aren't complaints just observations!
@mrwilliamstravels - Thanks for posting. We will be flying Turkish J (Business Class) in September from Naples to Istanbul to Dallas, the later of which will be on the 787-9 Dreamliner. After that, we will be flying DFW-IST-CPT and CPT-IST-DFW in February 2025, all legs currently scheduled on the 787-9. We are really looking forward to trying out their long haul Business Class product, 5 out of 6 will be on the Dreamliner. Though I wish they had doors (like Qatar), I'm really interested to see how their catering compares. Thanks again for posting.
Thanks so much for commenting! I'm sure you will really enjoy the 787. Whilst Turkish is great I do think that Qatar has a slight edge and the q suites are amazing. However I belive Turkish has introduced a new airbus with suites also now Have a great time on your journey!
Still better than the US !
I heard this plane is very smooth and you can’t feel no turbulence or anything with this plane is it true ?
It certainly seems much smoother than the other aircraft I've been on but you still can feel turbulence when there is any
@@mrwilliamstravels yeah but probably not as much though
@@racingbroscvs3430 yes I think that's probably true
Awesome video mate. This should hopefully do really well. Doesn't look like the best business class experience on the first leg, although the 787 looked awesome. Were all drinks included?
I wasn't actually expecting that much from the first flight as it was just a shortish trip but it was actually pretty nice, not as good as the 787 though. Yep all the drinks were included and as much as you wanted!
After two years in Portugal we have decided to leave and have applied for residency elsewhere. We are just south of Lisbon and the shine has come off the place. I once found it quaint but now see an impoverished population, unhappy, young people leaving for better opportunities, more homelessness, more derelict buildings, quickly rising prices, health services crumbling and it seems I'm in the mindset... "I expect nothing and I'm still disappointed".
That's for commenting, it's really interesting to hear your perspective
I'm Portuguese, living abroad for almost 10 years and I see the same when I go back to visit family. I always hear all these foreigners calling Portugal heaven on earth, but they must be looking somewhere else because all I see is a country filled with sad, dissatisfied and confused people.
@@charlesentertainmentcheese6663 I agree, there’s a lot of sadness.
@@charlesentertainmentcheese6663 this seems to be the case in many countries nowadays unfortunately, bit don't get me wrong I really love Portugal and it's a lot less depression than the UK where I from originally
wow a few losers lurking here. I normally rate the people as the ever pessimistic living in their half glass, stuck in the negatives, and the ever optimistic, the ones that can make the best out of it. Looks like this post caught a few of the pessimistic in the net. But.....granted the guy's face is depressing, and it looks like he just wanted to offload. Also probably best if you do a bit of homework before you move into a new country.
