After moving out into the country here in Washington State, many years ago, I was sure I heard a woman screaming very near my home. My closest neighbor wasn’t far away and I called her to see if she was okay or if she’d heard that woman screaming. She began laughing and told me that was no lady! 😊 I much later was walking out on a trail and came face to face with one. That was an interesting encounter, to say the least! (Speaking of cougars) Thank you for sharing this!

I agree to a point,but ticks come with mine.I hated having to cut mine but that put an end to mine.

Looks ok but with the long grass and weeds it attracts lots of snakes. Not wanting them near me, my family and home I keep it mowed down.

To each his own. I would aviod walking in it. Ticks, Chiggers and Mr Copperhead Snake that really like the Tallgrass. Where I live.

I like both, most wildlife prefers edges
