It will be crazy if they re work the Hush character origin in this universe. Would be crazy if the the reporter that Thomas Wayne had killed was actually Thomas Elliot Sr. Who had a son who he named after himself Thomas Elliot Jr. That would practically put Him and Bruce around the same age realistically.

Normally I’m totally against portraying the Waynes as corrupt (come on, can’t people do good things because it’s the right thing to do rather than for public image?). But I like the avenue Reeves took. Thomas did something wrong. But it was less driven by wanting to continue his mayoral campaign and more trying to protect Martha and, in his desperation, turned to someone he wouldn’t have otherwise. You keep the Waynes as good people who just made a terrible mistake out of love but also add a depth of humanity to them.

I really hope they keep this tone for this franchise.

What really happened was this: Thomas Wayne was only concerned about protecting Martha and not his mayoral campaign!!!! He initially tried to pay off the reporter but when the guy refused Thomas asked Falcone to threaten the journalist into keeping quiet about Martha's family history of mental illness. Falcone instead murdered the reporter.

Pretty crazy to think Bruce is a descendant of the Arkahams. It would fit perfectly with the Batman in the Arkham games. Arkham asylum, Arkham city, Arkham origins and Arkham Knight. Bruce just cannot escape his heritage.

The Riddler might somewhat be a sympathetic villain but this scene made me hate him a lot cause this is where he made it very very personal for Batman , who does he think he is exposing all that stuff about Bruce’s mother like that and telling him to pay for the sin’s of his father when he was just a little boy who didnt know anything about what his parent’s were going through ? Well i gues that’s what make’s him a good villain , some part sympathetic and some part hateable.

I feel like this is a horror film of dc films.

Love how Reeves used “Hush” over the reporter in this vignette (the father of Thomas Elliot/Hush). Leaves that possibly open for Hush being in one of the films or the Spin Off Shows. I seriously hope they do more than just a trilogy of films. Pattinson is the perfect age to do this real long haul series where we get to see real growth, and signed on to appear in extra films and shows because he is loving the role.

The Riddler's costume should've incorporated at least some minor variation of pink like making his glasses transparent light pink instead or maybe give him a matching green fedora maybe but with a mild wrap around dark pink signature classic color look to see what works and the writer, director could've worked more on his behavior push a bit but not too much in a different path of some humor having him feeding off the incorrect answers to his riddles. The interrogation over the top yelling of "AAHHHH" in the Arkham asylum he had with the batman scene was cringe and unnecessary, he also did it in the beginning when the attacking the mayor, like wth??

I think that having Thomas Wayne being corrupt would be more interesting. Batman started out to avenge his parents only to realise his parents weren't as squeaky clean and idealistic as he thought, he starts questioning his crusade but ultimately decides to be Batman for the hope of the city, not for his personal vendetta. It would have worked perfectly into the story.

After watching Joker, I believe Riddler, Maybe Thomas and Martha Wayne wasn't a good person we though they were, Does not help joker when He need them after his mother say Thomas might be Joker father but Thomas deny without even taking a blood test to confirmed, Does not help the poor people, Hide his terrible sin, Even in alternate universe if Bruce and Martha die instead of Thomas, Thomas become batman who is a murder brutality killer, I having a feeling, Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne might not be good person we thought they were after all

My question would actually be what kind of journalist would go on to bring into light the traumatic childhood of a woman who, after years of treatment, managed to start a normal life, even have a family of her own. Going public with so private matters as this would most likely send the injured party right back into a metal breakdown. That journalist was in no right to do that.

I think this revelation might have the least corruption. For example why in the world was that reporter all up in Thomas and his Wife’s business and privacy? What does it matter if Martha Wayne was in and out of asylums? That’s not the kind of secret that hurts other people and doesn’t need to be reported.

What I love about The Batman is that the movie feels like Batman Earth one. We have a Bruce who is a direct descendant of the Arkham line (and not Kane as in the main continuity). We have a strong connection between the legacy of the Arkhams and Batman. It helps to show that all the madmen that Batman fights and sends to the asylum are entirely his responsibility because this is his family heritage. And also it symbolically explains that Bruce fights every day not to meet the same fate as his ancestors and his own mother. He struggles not to lose his mind in turn. It really accentuates the cursed city side where Batman makes new enemies appear despite himself.

después la madre de Martha se suicidara la 2 teoría apunta a que la madre de Martha tenía problemas mentales que ahora pensándolo bien si tiene mucho sentido ya que Martha pertenece ala familia Ahrkam una de las familias con más historial de enfermedades mentales lo cual era lógico que Martha también heredará la locura de su madre para que luego la locura de Martha la heredará su hijo Bruce la 1 Tal vez por envidia ya que los Wayne en gotica eran más influyentes que las demás familias además de ser más reconocidos si es que este periodista venía de esa familia hay también se comportó de una manera hipócrita ya que si dice ser honesto no solo debió exponer los secretos de los Wayne si no También de su familia los Elliot no hacerlo solo para su beneficio pero como dije puede que halla estado comprado incluso esto se menciona en la película donde se nos da s entender a qué falcón compro a ciertos periodistas para que apoyaran al alcalde don Michael sabiendo que era corrupto no digo que todos los periodistas caen al soborno solo hablo de la posibilidad en la película lo digo por los periódicos donde sale el alcalde don Michael hay frases en ingles donde dicen:" Tu puedes don oh Sigue"a qué apunta a que esos periodistas fueron comprados por Falcone además de que Falcón fue el que le dio drop a Michael para que fuera alcalde perdón estoy dando demaciado spoiler una disculpa bueno esa es mi opinión sobre la película me gustó 💜
