Best Daniel sermon I’ve ever heard. Thank you.

Just happened upon this sermon. Powerful word.

I’m a Christian from the state of Missouri and I am extremely saddened by the passing of Amendment 3 that not only allows the murder of babies in the womb up to 9 months but also allows for minors to have abortions without their parents permission. It’s horrible what we have allowed. I am praying that our state government fixes this. One thing I do know is that I go to a church that preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ and my pastor did not care enough to speak on abortion or even the election for that matter. It has troubled me and I can’t understand why he didn’t speak up. I watch this pastor occasionally because I truly learn a lot from him. I love my pastor and am very grateful for him but his silence on these issues is a problem for me. Please pray for our state that we would get this amendment changed somehow someway. I don’t know how but God does. Thank you brothers and sisters.

What an incredibly odd timing to reference Daniel 3, a collapsing culture, et al......of allll the times under the sun with every institution turning it's back on the Lord for decades ...you choose now? If you expected a different outcome, have you considered why?

I’m 61. And I needed this fire bold preaching. Lord where are the high places in my heart? Show me! Tear them down. And one is Time! Ive fallen into protecting my time. 😢

"Faithfulness is accumulative." This describes Daniel's life.

Notice that Daniel and his three friends are the only ones mentioned among all the youth taken captive and conscripted to serve in the Babylonian court who stood firm in what they had been taught and did not compromise, even in the face of death. Daniel is called a man of "high esteem" twice in chapter 10 by the angel who was sent to deliver these prophecies. Daniel had prepared himself his entire life to be faithful to God, and I believe this is why he was given some of the most important endtime prophecies in chapters 8-12, the seventieth weeks prophecy being, I believe, one of the most important with regard to the timing of Jesus' return. Jesus pointed to Daniel in the Oliver discourse (Matt. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21) Jesus loved Daniel. ❤

Jesus commanded us to read and understand Daniel (Matthew 24). The book of Daniel is a manual for the endtime church. It is a hedge against the massive download of deception that is upon us even now. Jesus' immediate response to the disciples' question "what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” was to not be deceived.

I encourage anyone reading this comment to buy his book, and read it. It's Consider the Lillies by Jonny Ardavanis. I am reading it on Kindle but will be purchasing a physical copy for myself, and multiples to pass out. It is excellent.

I'm very thankful for the outcome of the election. However, this message is a wonderful reminder that we still live in Babylon, and we must not bow down to the evil world. I will personally apply this message to my own life to realize the time at hand is short. I will serve the one true God. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your mercy and kindness. May I share this glorious hope to those around me. PRAISE THE LORD!

It is somewhat a comforting thought I suppose for some to think or believe that when they die, they are instantly ushered into heaven but the Bible does not teach this. This comes from the Greek Mythology teaching that has crept into the church and it teaches that man has an immortal soul that lives on after death. This eledged soul at death, they claim, leaves ones body and goes directly to its reward or punishment at death. Again, no where in the Bible is this teaching found. If people did, what need would there of a resurrection? Gen 2:7 KJV And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Soul H5315 nephesh, meaning "living being.") Man was not given a soul but rather the dust of the ground, along with the breath of God combined, is a living soul. The breath of God is the spark that gives life to the dust of the ground.) Do we have an immortal soul? Speaking of Jesus, the Bible says; 15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16 Who only hath immortality,.... 1Tim 6:15-16 KJV Paul writes; To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour "and immortality," eternal life: Romans 2:7 KJV If we already had it, why would we seek for it? 1Co 15:53 KJV For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Again, if we already have immortality, why would we need to put it on? Some say, well the soul, which they ckaimvis a person that has no body, has to come back at the resurrection to get a body. To me the logic in this is flawed to say the least. Again, according to the Bible, what kind of beings will we be? Ghost like? Invisible beings without a body like we see in horror films? Job writes; And though after my skin worms destroy this body, "yet in my flesh shall I see God:" Job 19:26 KJV John writes; Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1Jn 3:2 KJV So how was Jesus after death? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Luke 24:39 KJV Is there some sort of consciousness that lives on after the body dies? Psa 146:4 KJV His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Ecc 9:5-6 KJV 5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. So what happens to use when we die? Gen 3:19 KJV In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Psa 13:3 KJV Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; Dan 12:2 KJV And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Unpopular opinion but, please, let’s be careful not to put him on a pedestal. He’s but a vessel. Only Christ!

Jesus told Peter in Matthew 16:19 that he was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven and whatever he bound on earth would be bound in heaven and whatever he loosed on earth would be loosed in heaven which means what he said is NOT negotiable. Peter was asked by the people in Acts 2:37 what they needed to do to be SAVED. He responded in Acts 2:38-39, "Repent and be BAPTIZED every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the PROMISE is unto you and to those that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Peter said in Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men whereby we must be Saved." Peter said in 1 Peter 3:21 "The like figure where unto even BAPTISM does also now save us....." It does so because it REMITS SIN - meaning the INITIAL remittance and not the confessing of sin later addressed in 1 John 1:9. Jesus said in John 3:7, "Marvel not that I said unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." That means that is NOT negotiable. He said in John 3:5, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of WATER, AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God." Being born of water is being Baptized in water in Jesus Name, being baptized with the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit. Jesus said in Mark 16:16, "He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name (Singular name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." The book of Acts is the longest and most important book in the New Testament because all of it is what Jesus and His disciples said we must do to be Saved which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME - Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 18:3-5, And Acts 22:16.: And being baptized with the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit which is addressed in Mark 16:19 (Jesus speaking) Acts 2:4 (Pentecost) Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, and Acts 10:44-48.There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Spirit just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example. All of the above proves no one's sins are remitted just because they are a believer, no one is Saved just because they are a believer, no one receives the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit just because they are a believer, and no one is Born Again (John 3:3-7) just because they are a believer. Some say the Thief on the cross next to Jesus was not baptized yet Jesus told him he would be with him in paradise that day.. Jesus had not given the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in His NAME until after He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. If you are convinced you need to get baptized in water in Jesus NAME, do a search, type in "United Pentecostal Church International", slightly scroll down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, then a screen will show a Church nearest you that will do that. If you do that you will be making SURE your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life. Jesus said in John 10:27, "My Sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me."

However, I would encourage you to be careful whom you quote as some may assume you endorse their teachings. For example, you quote Dr. Hugh Ross in this message. However, Ross believes the flood was a local event & I certainly assume you do not. There is an excellent article in Answers in Genesis, "Special Feature: Hugh Ross Exposé" by Ken & Dr. Terry Mortenson. May the Lord bless you greatly as you study to be approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
