Bray Wyatt made a thunderous return a few weeks ago at SmackDown Anniversary to change what no one has managed to do so far. He faced the champion face-to-face, not taking his eyes off the title at the end of SmackDown Anniversary. Four years ago on the same date, Roman Reigns returned and turned the federation upside down, he pinned The Fiend and won the WWE Universal Title, which was the beginning of his historic reign. Now, four years later, Bray Wyatt is back to take his revenge by ending Roman Reigns' reign that started from him. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman once again used their dirty tricks and sent Bray Wyatt into a match against Jimmy Uso. However, Bray Wyatt immediately and appropriately retaliated by sending Roman Reigns into a match against The Boogeyman. Bray Wyatt knows he can't handle Roman Reigns and The Bloodline on his own, so he brought in some friends to help him. The last episode of SmackDown before the ple presented us with two great matches. Bray Wyatt managed to defeat Jimmy Uso, while Roman Reigns successfully defeated The Boogeyman. Just before the end of the show, Roman Reigns was about to leave the ring when the lights went out and Bray Wyatt appeared before him out of nowhere delivering Sister Abigail and leaving the champion lifeless in the middle of the ring. SummerSlam has arrived and it's time for the WWE Universal Championship. Bray Wyatt is making a serious claim for the title, trying to dethrone Roman Reigns’ historic reign, which in turn seems unbeatable.. What will happen?
