I have literally left vehicles pliugged in but never driven for the entire 6 months to get the largest discount. They cant say what you do or dont do with your vehicle. If they are insuring a vehicle that just sits then they are happy with that

Hes just powering the device with a wall adaptor. Battery is for the walk from the car to the wall outlet. OBD spliter is so you can power it with a battery before unplugging it from the car. You have to plug it into the car so it can grab all the data from the OBD port of what its plugged into. It only does this on initial connection. Easy peasy

If only people watched the video showing how they use it to score you. Its tracks the locations your drive and how often you drive depending on what time of day you drive also . It would literally show you parked in your house with your car on for a month.

@@danielpineda6576 I just left progressive scamming ass company last month they literally tried to scam me; portrayed as if they were helping me lower my bill then later says we have you on recorded line saying these ppl live in the home sign these documents i said well thts bcus the other lady was trying to make ways to lower my bill, and they literally used it against me ! Another goes if we run an investigation and find out those ppl live in the home blah blah, I said pls do the investigation bcus I just want my original renewal back in place ! Come see who lives at the home no response back they said they put the paper in for it but still nothing! Just legit raised my bill and no can explain to me why or how and where my original renewal has gone it's too funny yet really sad! I'm not paying a bill based on an underwriter acting like she was helping me and even worst a new quote isn't a bonded deal I confirmed!? they literally needed the documents they sent out back with signature I never signed anything or agreed to anything and now my original bill is just non existent!! I original called bcus my renewal was a bit higher and was trying to see if it cld be lowed based on my driving history being a lot cleaner! Haven't everything recorded too it's truly sad how the world is so greedy for money and that's why I'm not mad at all at these kind of life hacks! These billion dollar companies are scamming it's very rare they get caught up but I am NOT the one. @@tehpanuychikon168 the black lead goes in 4 the red lead goes in 16. Red is the power and black is the ground the power is 16 and the ground is 4. Count from left to right starting in the top row to the end of the bottom row. 16 is the bottom extreme right.

You don't need to use a battery the aluminum foil will block any signal when you move it from you car into your house. Hopefully you pull the device in your garage and your bedroom is over the garage or plug it in the garage. The device knows the precise location. You have to put it back into your car in the precise location you took it out of your car.

@@tehpanuychikon168 Paper clips a standard size slots perfectly into the ports in the OBD2 port. Just connect the wires of the 9 volt adapter to the other end of the paper clips and glue them with crazy glue or hold them with alligator clips.

It’s criminal they raise your rates. If you’re opting in to let them do free data collection, they should be a flat discount regardless of how unsafe you of a driver you are. The only thing you can get is more of a discount, but not penalized.
