What a fabulous looking garden. Would appear your harvest will be a great success. You did a great job in your presentation. New to watching your channel, just popped up for so reason. Will be subscribing and watching in the future. Can not imagine the amount of time you put in to keep everything as clean as it is. Writing from south central Washington state. Have about a 2000 sq. ft. garden . Sell 400 to 500 lbs of beets , some carrots also. Being in my early to mid 80's, my garden is setup so most of the work is done with a garden tractor. From working up the soil, to planting, cultivating and in some cases the harvest work. Appears you have a very beautiful homestead. Best of luck and be waiting for more videos.
A snake!!!! Ekkk! 😮
Please tell me where you ordered your English cucumber seeds. I couldn't find any at my local garden centers or in any of the catalogs that I have. I would so appreciate it. Thank you! Love the outdoor stove.
Good Morning. I order my seeds from OSC. Specifically for the English cucumbers, I ordered these www.oscseeds.com/product/english-telegraph-cucumber-seeds-1655/
@@offgridwithkeithchristina3794 Thank you so much!!
Same
I bought myself a 3 burner one after years of canning inside on propane stove. GAME CHANGER! I have an outdoor kitchen on the covered porch off the kitchen and it's SO wonderful 😊
Canning outside with the propane is a great idea!! Not that I was creeping the interior of your house, I love your jars of ingredients in the kitchen <3 Looking forward to seeing more "Canning with Christina" ;)
Stop rubbing the phone.
😂
If you fill the trench with rocks, it will silt up and become incredibly hard to clear. I've tried it 👎🏼 You should have the overflow branch off and water the garden at the highest point.
It should be fine as long as the water can drain to somewhere else, the rocks are supposed to prevent erosion as the water rushes by.
How do you treat the algae when it builds up from exposure to the sun 🤔
Great water system Keith! Great watering technique Christina! 💪🏻
I like the idea bro. How about summer water is not too hot? Or watering morning
The water tends to stay fairly cool, as the nights are typically cooler where we live, and yes, we water early in the morning. Thanks for watching
I really like your garden. Thank you for sharing.

Love this! Everything is so nicely spaced out and weeded! Wow, look at all of the food you will be harvesting. I will watch your canning video(s) with interest and slight jealousy… “until next time boys and girls!”
The kids loved watching Bigsby... I mean Keith doing his renos :)
Thanks for the videos !! We are looking at purchasing an ecolodge these videos are super helpful
good to have news from you!!! you have a really beeeeeeautiful house!!!!!
Love to come and visit you guys to learn more!!! You guys really are doing lots of good work!
What model did you go with? Would you go with ecolog again?
I would 100% go with ecolog homes again. They do custom designs for each build. We chose 24x28 for the size and then worked with an archretic for the interior
@@offgridwithkeithchristina3794 Awesome. We are debating going with the Dog Lake from them. Nice hearing from someone with first hand experience. Thanks for the reply
@@deegee4499 you will love working with this company. We will post a video shortly of our experience and our home.
Hey Christina and Keith! My husband and I are looking to build a home just like yours-would love to pick your brains and connect :) I sent you a FB message
Hi dear ! Your videos are great! But i researched your videos , there are lot of problem on your videos like SEO , KEYWORD RESEARCH, DESCRIPTION or many things . I can optimize your content for better search visibility. Let's discuss how to rank higher on UA-cam.

I request Keith to sketch out all of the steps that were not recored 😁 it’s been a few years since I’ve seen those animation skills at work!
I also request to see some canning with Christine episodes
I tried the different agitators. Didn't like any of them! I stuck with the washboard. Your wringer is spaced to far from the wash bin. Reaching, bending and twisting will wear you out quickly. When I was set up, I had a 3ft oval water trough upside down with a round washtub on each end & the wringer in the middle. I used only bar soap (bath bars to be exact) . The board should be directly in front of you. The board isn't for "scrubbing" per say it's to surge the water through the fabric. Dunking at the end of every stroke is important. I could always tell when I'd been doing clothes by hand for a while, they were always cleaner than the machine could get them! To conserve water, when the wash water needs changing, only change that container. Your old rinse bin becomes the wash bin! Remember not to put anything through the wringer that has buttons! It'll break the buttons every time. The real key though is to use bar soap. The liquid laundry soap just won't cut it. You'll work yourself silly before you get anything clean.
I enjoy watching videos like this. They prove how far away we have truly gotten from depending on our ability!! I'm 78 now, I've gathered water from a creek to do laundry in a wrangler washer, bathed in a lake, river, and stream. Lived in a camper, and our family of 4 done well and survived!! When you one how and have determination, you can do what you need to!❤❤
😊💕👍💪
💪🏻
What web site did you find your kit ?
www.ecologhomes.ca/
I agree with Max, the house could use another dorm 😝
😆
Is there any way that you can use a different microphone? As you move around, we hear the iPad moving and then it's harder to hear you and what you're saying.
Your absolutely right. We are now aware, however most of this footage was shot over a year ago. As we catch up and take recent footage we have made adjustments. Thanks for following along on our journey
How do you say his name? He is too cute! 🥰
That's Bigsby. The sweetest little boy
Wow beast mode!! That is a hike and you’re pushing a wheelbarrow with stones in it. That is amazing!!
Thanks. We work hard and sometimes feel like we're slow, but inspirational words keep us going 💪
You guys rock! Wow! That was a lot of trips through all that snow and climbing up it. Great stamina you guys have!
Thanks so much!
You both work really hard on your dream house.i hope you will have many years to enjoy it.I can't believe only you two are building it,without any help.
We did have some help. We hired plumbers and electricians, and we had 3 men help for 4 days to lift up the higher logs and work with the crane to place up the trusses.
Where are you moving too? A lot of snow and ice kinda what we have now here in Upstate New York.
Hi. We moved from Yellowknife to a small town in Ontario, and yes alot of snow. Have a great day
Christina and Keith. You should be very proud of yourselves. You have both worked really hard and the outcome is amazing.
Thank you so much. It's been hard work but so rewarding.
111th subscriber!! I’m also in Ontario & aspiring to build my own homestead. Thanks for the inspiration & well wishes to you:)
