Question from rural Ireland. How big is your town? What is the population? I ask because I have seen several videos of people living in different small but still not "very" small towns of around 5,000 but with virtually no grocery options apart from a gas station. My local town 4 miles away of 5,000 has 4 mid sized supermarkets not counting all of the other shops and stores for clothing, electrical, hardware, fast food, restaurants and coffee shops and so on. And it is absolutely not a tourist town. I'm getting the impression that very often in rural America there tends to be one huge supermarket which draws in everything in a 20-30 mile radius and leaves a desert of very little else to choose from? And as be an FYI, I nearly always do the household weekly shopping with a bike and trailer.

@@tconnolly9820 the town had probably a little over 1000 people, but luckily there was a small supermarket, a discount store and a couple hardware stores as well. getting around town on a bike was easy enough but biking down some of the country roads to get to the bigger towns nearby was really dangerous because the roads either were very poor condition, extremely steep unpaved seasonal roads up the side of a mountain etc. the main roads are dangerous because of the speed limit and narrowness, also there have been a lot of blindspots on these 55 MPH roads where I could have easily been killed. Not to mention reckless psycho drivers who think that they own the road and will drive right next to you super fast while blaring the horn. All in all it's just too dangerous to bike in this country and I don't enjoy bikes as a hobby anymore so I'm planning on getting a small older vehicle and moving to the city.

When you ride a bike, wind resistance makes it feel like wind is blowing in your face. Seeing as this was published in December, that's what I would conclude from personal experience. You live in a suburb or rural part N. America? Riding a bike on flat pavement isn't really exercise, and people in dense cities have all worn masks to breath in better air for decades. EDIT: 1:49 note the lack of mask.

keeps the face warm when its cold out, only thing i miss about having to wear a mask
