I'm 6 foot 4", and it is terrible! I have been on another NEO since this (video soon) and it seemed better at the window seat... 737 Genuinely has the best legroom of all Jet2 fleet.

It was absolutely packed out for AJ! At least you managed to see your most loved 757 one last time putting a shift 🙏 in I don't blame you this was also my last chance to catch AJ too as I was working when she left for St. Athan :(

I bet that was lovely, brand new aircraft to fly on. Shame about no window on the extra legroom row, I guess legroom and a view come separately!

LSAN is there now among AJ and AC waiting to be dismantled 😢 Never had the chance to fly on AJ but my parents did, ex Air 2000 aircraft. These 757s have great history.

I love them to bits I'll be very sad to see the remaining 6 go. I had the A321N on the return leg (G-SUNJ) and I have to agree they're not a patch on the 757 at all, I was pretty well wedged into my seat on the 321!

I completely agree with you, It's mainly down to maintenance costs from what I know. Jet2's 757's AA and AB were both due massive upcoming checks and it wasn't feasible for them to carry out. The same is going to happen with the remaining 6 after September 2024 when they're due the big checks. It's an old but gold engine 😄

Good idea! I could do a similar thing with the C17 from last week I got a proper solid picture of the two. I’ll have a mess around and put it in man/egcc group. Nice one mate, I completely agree there should’ve been a 757X or max, it’s gutting to see them go.
