So stupid how its such a pain to replace the coils. They could of made them easier to access but nooooo. Since you're in there you might as well replace the coils. Just forced the plastic open on mine and used uv light and bam green on the evaporator so now ill be replacing it soon. I have to recharge it about once a month. That adds up. Better church ladies hear it then the algorithm.

So the AC didn’t need to be drained and recharged, so my local mechanic shop is trying to charge me extra for something that doesn’t need to be done

Mine is a 2010 SEL, and it started by not blowing hot air in winter time, then the engine got hot and they changed the hoses, and finally the fan no longer turns on and the air compressor no longer comes on. ☹️

man i swear ive been looking everywhere for days trying to find info about those vacuum lines for the EGR and purge. got a code reading for AIT sensor and i discovered that the sensor was removed by the previous owner. said he had a poor idle and just stuck a bolt where the sensor was to plug it. then EGR started flashing on the scanner but when i was checking it out i broke the vac lines :( im not even sure if those valves arent doing anything. it ran exactly the same but i temporarily stuck a random hose from my bleeder kit over the broken lines until i can find out how to replace them. thank you so much for this lol

i put half of thinner zebra brand for my wira 1.6 im try its work.

if you put the plug in cyl 1 and the coil in 3. You only have to change things over once.
